He likely didn't need to, but this is what people do when they think they can get away with anything and rules don't apply to them. He'd likely try to justify it by saying he donated millions to his own campaign and therefore he is allowed to take some back because it was "his money" anyway. Of course, that isn't he way the system works, but people like Trump don't care how the system works - they just do what they want because rules don't apply to them.

If the democrats put up another horrible candidate it's going to be 7 more. They also need to start distancing themselves from HRC and start condemning the stupid shit she says. The people she is bashing is the same people that they need to get to vote for their candidate.
I really don't think Trump runs another term though. He'll claim health or something so he won't run.

The sooner he gets out, the sooner he can really start to capitalize on having been President. Post-presidential life is where the money making starts for those guys - books, appearances, monetizing being "45". I expect he'll walk.
He was already the oldest president elected (to a first term - and would be the oldest elected to a second term as well). Got to make the money while he's alive...

i feel like at this point they have to have a pretty good idea of who it is. with the amount of cameras out there its pretty hard to get away with stuff like this.

They are probably some bobby pins or some other item for her. I am not exaggerating. She orders from amazon no less than 3-4 times a week. Alexa and Prime have changed the world.
