I think LA finally breaks through and beats the Greeks in 6.
This is one of the more wide open playoff fields that I can remember with Boston’s rotation being meh and the NL with some strong teams.

Can the Beef have another fluke playoff run? Pitching has been lights out lately.

I think Lincoln or Miami knock me out.
Just feels like one of those zany seasons where the unexpected happens.
We will never lose to Richmond

Once*
Richmond is mixed in with the likes of San Fran and Miami.
Those sleeper teams sometimes go on a run.
It feels like that kind of year.

I just need some playoff revenue. But, I do not want to go 5 in the first round. Would love to have it wrapped up in 4.

Big Bob Kelley wrapping up his HOF career with a negative WAR season and being waived before the postseason. Harsh Qaz.
Only 57 career WAR but almost 500HR, all time leader in hits with 3547 and lets not forget those career SB of 143.

shel was telling me, not a lock to make HoF, It will totally depend on those metrics probably and how he lines up with our current HoF.

A lot of guys are hoping to make a quick bucket of cash with a postseason run with this impending FA of doom and these asking prices.
Me included.

Bob Kelley is absolutely a lock to be a HOFer and is the leader or in top 5 of so many batting categories. If he does not get in then guys really need to stop being so obsessed with war and thinking that’s all that matters.
One of the best bats in the history of the NDL

I said if Nicolson can't get in, Kelley is not a lock to get in.

War takes into account every batters stat so not using it would be worse.

I am not saying war does not matter and it is more accurate with hitters but it is not the only stat that matters. Fat Bob is one of the best bats we have ever had so if he didn’t get in because he “only” has 57 war that is stupid.

what makes him one of the best bats ever, other than typing that and believing it? Do we have stats? How do they compare to others. Is he top 5 in meaningless stats? Has he had more ABs than anyone else? He also plays no defense so he loses that portion of WAR.
He avgd roughly 2.7ish war/season. he played many yrs for somene with a ton of HRs, he lost his HR power around the age of 34. He had 1 38 HR season recently but thats an outlier. His peak ended around 32 and he played til 42.
