we need to figure out what Las Vegas's settings are at. If he has the Asst. GM with those tasks, I think we have our answer and solution... make sure no one has that setting and banning Asst. GM.

As for a solution to the IFA issue...
I suggest putting them into the FA pool and everyone who wants to bid, PM me their bid. I then tell corey who the winner is and he deducts the money and puts the players into the team.

I'm restricted, so I know I can't bid, no clue who else is btw.

voted for All Stars, don't forget to vote.

It's a sticky situation with the IFAs. personally I like to see someone else like LVO get the highly rated IFAs but understand it's not quite fair. Im sure he will be cool about it and do wha'ts best for the league.

I can put them back to FA and next sim everyone just offer as usual.

With that being said did we ever officially ban assistant GMs? I don't think so.

I feel bad for Rain but also understand not everyone had a fair shot at them.

I don't think Rain will care as he never made any offers and had no clue it would happen. He seems like a reasonable dude and I can imagine him thinking this is unfair or anything

We did not. We just said they weren't mandatory like the others.

Are you talking the regular FA pool? If so that is not going to work. Like Ted said, he can't bid on them in the IFA, but as a FA he could. I like Ted's idea. Give it 2 days for everyone to send their bids to them and be done with it.

Yeah also if we put them in the FA pool there would be no IFA penalties

There still isn't going to be. They'd have to be manually assessed afterwards.

It's going to be a LOT of work, so unless someone like Ted is willing to handle all the bidding, all the penalties, etc, I think we just have to let it go and chalk it up to a learning experience. Not the first time we've had something out of the norm happen despite our best efforts.

Just getting time to look at this.

LV does have an assistant GM. They signed all of these guys.

I am not going to go through a bidding type scenario and we are moving on as manually assessing taxes, moving guys, and then a bidding process is a bit much.

Next year I will need to either stop on the FA release day or ensure no one else has an Assistant GM.

Charlotte, LV, Moose Jaw,San Francisco and LA all have one so it seems LV's is better than anyone else's

He may be the only one that gave the assistant GM the right to extend offers too

the WAR on Pitchers is always strange to me. I get that his peripherals are probably not great.. but if youve pitched 56.1 innings with a 2.72 ERA as a reliever, you should be a tad better than a -0.3 WAR .. right?
