Yep. First time I’ve ever seen a kid drive a semi though. He backed it in perfectly though.

Thats pretty damn impressive, actually.

At MSU there is a farmers frat, I forget the name. Was always funny driving by it because the parking lot had nothing but 15-20 year old pickup trucks in it

My school is in Lynn, IN. It’s east central Indiana, about 8 miles from the Ohio border.

Is it over medication? Lack of discipline of bad kids for fear of being turned in for child abuse? Or do we just have more crazy people now than 50 years ago? Someone could win the Nobel Peace Prize if they can figure this out and stop it.
From my understanding, this isn't so. They only became more public in the last 20 years.

I'll see if I can find the data but school shootings remained mostly constantly over the years(even more than 20 years ago) until about 2011 where all of a sudden it's increased. It's basically tripled since 2011.
I don't remember ever seeing 5+ kids being killed in a random killing spree at a school prior to the Columbine shooting. I could chalk that up as being younger and not following the news though too
IMO it's partly because we were younger and partly because Columbine saw 15 killed, and they probably did become more media drive after that as opposed to before, but:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleveland ... (Stockton)

1989, 5 children killed in an elementary school, 32 injured.
This article references this shooting. After this shooting there was a push to an assault rifles but a bill failed. After 2 more mass shootings, the bill passed.

I had no idea assault rifles were banned from 1994-2004, who knew?

Results over those 10 years saw a 42% drop in mass shootings of 6+ dead compared to 1984-1994. Since the ban ended in 2004, it's up 239%.

I also never would have guessed 1994-2004 saw way less of these than 1984-1994.

Stanford researchers may have found a possible cure for cancer.

87 of mice cured of cancer with first treatment. The other 3 were cured after a second treatment.

Even if it is only able to cure the 4 or 5 different types of cancer right now it is a step in the right direction.
