Re: NFL Thread
Nothing sexier than NFL Oline guard talk!! Like any of us know good guards from the 2000s lol...but I digress.
But a quick peak at the other guard on that 2000s All Decade team, Steve Hutchinson got in with less achivements. Faneca has a Super Bowl, more Pro Bowl appearances, more 1st team All Pros, more 2nd team All pros...
He's probably out because he couldn't even beat me at Madden.
Re: NFL Thread
i played with a NFL guard. Im sure ive brought that up 100 times before.
Re: NFL Thread
who votes on the all-pro and pro bowl teams?
Faneca might just be more 'liked' than Hutchinson? not sure

Re: NFL Thread
No idea who votes.
I assume you meant the opposite, maybe Hutchinson is more liked than Faneca?
At any rate, I'm definitely not trying to die on the Faneca to the HOF hill, just thought the 2000s Decade team thing was interesting, then I looked up Hutchinson as the other guard who got in with less accolades. But yea, maybe he is just more liked or whatever.
Re: NFL Thread
i meant the players vote on the pro bowl, or at least did back then. and i think the writers probably vote on the all pro team. So faneca having more accolades might mean he was more liked
i could certainly be wrong though

I worked at Progressive Insurance and became good friends with Don Maggs. He was a lineman for the Houston Oilers for Warren Moon. Said the players did not like Moon.shel311 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 2:05 pmNothing sexier than NFL Oline guard talk!! Like any of us know good guards from the 2000s lol...but I digress.

Re: NFL Thread
How do you jump offsides in that exact moment

Re: NFL Thread
Between that offsides and that stupid ass decision to go for it on 4th down. I know I am not Mr. Analytics but you gotta take the 3 there once you lost 3 yards on 4th

Fumble, ball game.
Re: NFL Thread
Because he's an offensive lineman and I recognize his name.
