Funny how all year the talk in general was Brees is washed up, has a noodle arm. And of course he had the 11 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. The talk most of the season has also been that Tom Brady should at least be in the discussion for MVP.
And yet when you look at both dudes, Brees was better playing QB than Brady this year...yet again.
ETA: Hopefully Dub doesn't choose today as a day to come back around the boards, because I'm sure he'd flip his shit for me saying that.

But Brees does have a noodle arm. Payton and Brees are just so good and smart that he can still operate a high level offense.

The 10-6 Dolphins have 3 of the top 35 picks including #3 overall and the 3rd pick of the 2nd round.
The 4-12 Texans won't pick until at least the 3rd round? (unless they have another 2nd round pick from another team/trade that I could be missing).
Bill O'Brien, take a lap.

Trust the process!
Who am I kidding? That was some of the stupidest shit I've ever seen... and that's saying a lot coming from a life-long Browns fan. At least we 'tried' to make acquire talent and picks.

As a Fins fan, I cared probably more about the Texans losing yesterday than the Dolphins winning (since them winning just honestly meant getting run outta town in the 1st round, or thrashed by KC in the next round, not like they were going on some SB run)

The Bears and Saints have combined for a total of 3 wins vs teams with a winning record this season. All 3 wins are vs Tampa Bay.

Here we go...
Browns got the COVID outbreak. 5 staff/players so far are out. Browns head coach won't be available, and 2 players so far, 1 being their Pro Bowl guard.

Would be a real shit show if Steelers started popping positive in the next day or so, since they played last weekend.

Browns already had an outbreak. That’s why they lost their entire WR core two weeks ago?

Correct. K. Hodge is a WR, but he didn't sit that week due to the outbreak, he had another injury. The docs say the tracing suggests that it's community spread, not from the outbreak.
Uphill battle playing at Pitt against a rested team. Mountain to do it w/o Stefanski and Bitonio. Hodge is irrelevant. The TE coach is fairly irrelevant. The DB coach could be an issue, but our DC came up as a DB coach... besides, we've got backups going all over our secondary, so they suck regardless.
Doesn't matter... still just happy to get to the playoffs right now. I loved the Stefanski/Berry combo and they've pretty much done everything I could have hoped for in season 1. I just want to see them keep building on it and improving. I genuinely believe this year wasn't a fluke (though the schedule was pretty light), but it was more of a foundation for long-term success... something this organization isn't familiar with.

As a lifelong Browns fan, I could not agree with this more.
We finally have a coaching staff that seems to get it.
We have a great foundation and hopefully will continue to build upon it!

Hall of Fame finalists.....pretty impressive list. There were others who were not finalists who I thought could have been.....anyhow who gets in????
Jared Allen, DE – 2004-07 Kansas City Chiefs, 2008-2013 Minnesota Vikings, 2014-15 Chicago Bears, 2015 Carolina Panthers
Ronde Barber, CB/S – 1997-2012 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tony Boselli, OT – 1995-2001 Jacksonville Jaguars, 2002 Houston Texans
LeRoy Butler, S – 1990-2001 Green Bay Packers
Alan Faneca, G – 1998-2007 Pittsburgh Steelers, 2008-09 New York Jets, 2010 Arizona Cardinals
Torry Holt, WR – 1999-2008 St. Louis Rams, 2009 Jacksonville Jaguars
Calvin Johnson, WR – 2007-2015 Detroit Lions
John Lynch, S – 1993-2003 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 2004-07 Denver Broncos
Peyton Manning, QB – 1998-2011 Indianapolis Colts, 2012-15 Denver Broncos
Clay Matthews Jr., LB – 1978-1993 Cleveland Browns, 1994-96 Atlanta Falcons
Sam Mills, LB – 1986-1994 New Orleans Saints, 1995-97 Carolina Panthers
Richard Seymour, DE/DT – 2001-08 New England Patriots, 2009-2012 Oakland Raiders
Zach Thomas, LB – 1996-2007 Miami Dolphins, 2008 Dallas Cowboys
Reggie Wayne, WR – 2001-2014 Indianapolis Colts
Charles Woodson, CB/S – 1998-2005, 2013-15 Oakland Raiders, 2006-2012 Green Bay Packers
Obviosly Johnson and Manning are shoe ins....who else?
I also like woodson, wayne, and have a personal bias for zach thomas

Boselli should have been in already. Woodson seems like a lock. Seymour probably should. Then the obvious in Manning and Johnson

I played Madden against Faneca in 1997 and beat him, so I don't think he's HOF worthy.

Ed Bouchette
@EdBouchette
Besides Tom Brady & fullback Lorenzo Neal, Alan Faneca only offensive player on all-2000s decade team not voted to HOF
