Elite team balks at asking price? "They'll come back" GM Wadden was quoted as saying earlier when talks broke through on a major player. "I thought they wanted to win now. Guess not. Morris' don't grow on trees".
Sure that's valid but I guess a risk on an unproven IFA type player for a top flight starter is a very big risk when you could have gotten a better package imo.

Dave Morris is elite but not a top flight starter. 2 posts 5 minutes apart. Nick says lots of things!!!
Also, does it really matter to go out of your way to keep Morris out of the AL East if you're not getting the pieces back and thus won't be relevant until Morris is no longer elite?
Spitters said good bye to John Tyler today in an emotional press conference. Tyler is the longest tenured pitcher in Spitters history with 1729 ip in 10 seasons. He's tied for the franchise wins mark with 105 alongside Millard Potts.
"John was a major part of our championship ball club in 2043 and we wish him nothing but the best in Sheltown as he chases his next postseason appearance. He's been nothing but a pro over his years in the Spitters organization" Said GM Riccio
Kyle Bryant wasn't as happy when asked about the move "I've played with John for a long time, this is bullshit. Our GM is still smoking the same damn cigar he fired up 5 years ago... he needs to wake the hell up"
