Just 1 game, but so far so good. He looked really comfortable and stayed in the pocket, never had that urge to leave the pocket early, really not even once.

18 of 23 for 233 yards
10 carries 51 yards, 2 TDs

And he had a 57 yard pass called back from a penalty.

I know everyone is way down on him now but he has had the worst WRs besides Pats for 2 seasons and the o-line has been atrocious and killed with injuries. I don’t think he is nearly as bad as it seems now but it is definitely in his head now

Guess we finish the predictions from our draft guesses with “incomplete” to close the season with Burrow done and Tua in no mans land it seems.

Herbert last man standing and playing pretty damn well.

Herbert had been amazing this season. Well at least up to two weeks ago, I have not watched a football game on Saturday or Sunday in the past two weeks

This is stupid
Adam Schefter

MRI revealed more damage than anticipated: Bengals’ QB Joe Burrow tore his ACL, MCL, and suffered other structural issues in his knee as well
Adam Schefter

These types of knee injuries, like the one Joe Burrow suffered, usually sideline players anywhere from 9-12 months, though each person heals and rehabs differently. But no matter how quickly Burrow does or doesn’t recover, next year’s status is now in question.

Wasn't that the case when the Bengals drafted him?

Michael Gehlken @GehlkenNFL
Cowboys canceled practice due to emergency medical situation. The staffer’s identity is not being reported at this time out of respect for the matter’s sensitivity and potential gravity.

Something pretty serious going down with the Cowboys. Non-COVID related emergency, they've canceled practices and press conferences for the rest of the day. They also play in 2 days, so this would seem pretty serious, but so far no one really knows what or who is involved.

Jerry Jones is 78 years old. Not saying it's him but I wouldn't be surprised if he was involved

1 reporter confirmed it wasn't Jerry Jones.

Another report:
Unclear what exactly happened with the #Cowboys this morning, but per multiple local reporters, it was a "very emotional scene" and the staffer is "still receiving medical attention." Emergency units were called to the team facility at around 7:30am, @DavidMooreDMN.

Today's example of People have lost their minds...

Apparently Mike McCarthy went all Gallagher like the night before the game and smashed some watermelons with a sledgehammer to get the team motivated. Some in the media are now saying that was racist.

Everything is racist now. You can't even say "the" without some dingbat calling you a racist.

Tua isn't in no mans land, it's his team - even Fitz and Flores said so. Team just needed a spark and he wasn't playing well.

Herbert is good, but he by no means has it locked up as being the best of the 3. For one, he can't beat a team that doesn't suck. He's beaten Cincy, the Jets and Jacksonville - who are a combined 3-26-1

Tua's 3 wins (in 4 starts, not 10) are against 2 playoff teams...and Herbert's team.

Also, way way way too much emphasis is put on a rookie QBs performance that 1st year.
Look at the elite QBs, a ton of them sat their first year.

This 1st season is basically spring training for these guys - see what they got, see how they stack up and see where they need to improve
