My 1 kid just won his 1st game on Madden against the CPU! Rookie mode, 6 minute quarters, all by himself. he ran/called every play, not a single tip from me.


The real question, I'm having trouble deciding, is who had the prouder Dad moment today, me or Riccio?

10 yard fight was ok, but 4th and Inches on the Commodore 64 is what we got into.

We had a league of 4 of us and we kept stats and stuff, renamed all the players, it was good times.

Joe Montana football on the Sega was my jam.

my shit growing up was Ken Griffey Jr presents Major League Baseball. I couldnt sleep the night before baseball tournaments so id pull all nighters and me and pops would play a season. went 160-2 with Seattle lol

It was transformational if you will and fully blew my kid mind

Just finished about 3/4 of my house plumbing changing it from CPVC to PEX.
About $1000 in parts but did all the work myself so saved there. 1 1/2 days worth of labor though.
PEX is so nice to work with compared to gluing CPVC or soldering copper.

pex is amazing, i have it in most of my house at this point.

I have slowly been redoing my entire house since i bought it. completely did the kitchen, painted, knocked out a wall, bunch of other odds and ends. now going to put in new floors which is excited for.

We remodeled basically the entire house prior to moving in.
New kitchen, new floors, new baseboards, trim around the windows, crown molding, carpet in some rooms, paint, didn't remove any walls, but we did cut a big opening in the wall between our kitchen and living room.
