As long as the screen powers on and works they take it back and there is no "buyback". You turn it in or you keep it. There is no value assessment.

I took my phone into Verizon for my 2 year upgrade, they told me the "condition" it was in and gave me actually a lot more money toward my old phone than I actually thought it was worth. They deduct the "turn in" amount from the upgrade price of the new phone plus tax on full price of new phone, then I pay monthly. I pay around $22 a month more or less for a really nice phone.

ATT takes it no questions asked and you upgrade.

They will allow you to trade in if it is paid off but you are better off selling as they will give you a lot less than what its worth.

Interesting. They took my old phone back for around $349 and some change if I remember correctly. Doubt I could have sold that for that much.

Completely misread a situation.

Wife and I are going to a Halloween party tonight (couldn't do it last week due to her best friend being out of state looking at colleges and football programs with her son).

Wife is going as Chucky, her best friend as Chucky's Bride.
