What in the world are Chris Paul and Doc Rivers doing with the boycotting/quitting stuff? Makes no sense.

Caliendo is spot on most of the time but this one didn't get me. Go in the NFL thread I posted a link to his impersonation of Jon Gruden. If you don't find it even a little amusing then you have soul.

Doesn't? They don't need the money. Its about being leaders and making a stand for what they believe in. Notice its not the entry level guys its the team leaders.

Hmm... exactly my response.

I think it was just the Morgan Freeman part of it... while his voice is notorious, there wasn't much in the way of expressions that really made it funny for me. Gruden, Jaws, and Madden have so much more to work with than just the voice.

With that said... looks like all of the recent promotion is for the Best of show tonight @ 7.

Yes, there's that.

But aside from that, the NBA has banned Sterling for life and faciliated the sale of the team. They can't exactly do anything about pending lawsuits. So, I don't get what they're protesting.

Good news for all you Cavalier fans that didn't burn your LeBron jerseys when he left town.

Also, has anybody checked the odds on whether or not Cleveland @ Miami will be a Christmas Day game? I'd have to think it's almost a lock.

There's an article about a rumor that Spurs @ Cavs will be the season opener.

In that article is this gem:
The Spurs visiting Cleveland would mark the first time LeBron James will have faced San Antonio since he returned to Cleveland and since the Spurs dismantled James and the Heat in the NBA Finals in June.

As we head into the 2014-15 campaign, five teams have vaulted their way into the championship conversation—three from the East, two from the West
Of all the teams on this list, none boasts a bigger, better X-factor than the 22-year-old man-child power forward. In Davis, the Pelicans aren’t merely in possession of a future superstar. He’s already there

CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

Print the shirts and start planning the parade route!!!
