I think a mid season single elimination tournament would be fun as hell as long as everyone has a good incentive to play.

When you guys (you and dave) say "mid season", do you mean stop the season and play it like the all star game? or do you mean during season, like the FA Cup and Champions League etc..., where the tourney is mixed into the season and goes concurrently?

I can see that as either during a long break mid season or throughout the season. I would guess it would be mixed into the season the more I think it out in my head.

I wonder if it is a ploy to play a variety of games on neutral courts, to help the NBA try to expand their fan base.

Not that they can't have all the games over the course of the season in Vegas, but the central location would make me think they'd take a break from the regular season to have the tourney all at once.

Make this happen already, I'm sure it'll never happen or it's like 5 years away.

I have to admit, if they did this over a 1-2 week span in Vegas, that would make for a pretty awesome trip.

his teammates from Kansas have told some awesome stories about him on specials i've seen. just how funny he is and the stories he'd make up. like how he'd tell teammates or girls that he killed a lion with his bare hands.

James Jones signed with the Cavs. I assume Ray Allen is next.

I really wonder if Lebron, with more leverage, will have more say in some of these personnel decisions. Supposedly, Lebron was always internally lobbying for James Jones to get more minute, but he never did. I imagine if we see CLE trotting Jones out there 15-20 minutes a night, we may know the answer to that one lol.

I used to love using him as I try to replicate how guys play in real life, I'd come down on 1 on 4 fast breaks and launch 34 footers with him. he always sucked, but it was fun
