difference between the Jays and the Rangers, when we go to the World Series, we win em.

How many championships does Texas have again?? I forgot.

lol I'll take winning seasons and losing in the WS over being in the basement any day. I spent too many years as a Ranger fan watching a shitty team not to appreciate what theyve done

If you're gonna beat the Reds, you better do it early......that 7-8-9 inning tandem of Marshall-Broxton-Chapman is just unfair. If you don't win in the first six innings vs them, you've got almost no chance.

They said chapman hit 102 on the official gun earlier this season but there were unofficial guns that put it at 104. thats insane.

He hit 102 almost nightly when he was here in Louisville. He went through a rough stretch in June where he was getting rocked, due to him only throwing the fastball. Now that he's got a slider that hits 90-92 without effort....it's just not even fair. The damn thing goes from outside one side of the plate to outside the other with that kind of speed......it's gonna be fun watching him as a starter next year, if his arm can handle the innings.

Mariners swept KC and just swept Homegrown Talent to win their 7th game in a row. This team sure has its moments of getting us fans extremely excited. If we take 2 of 3 from the Yankees over the weekend, we're making the playoffs.

Eric Thames hit a 2-run shot over the center field fence today in his Mariners debut. Yup. A Mariner hit a home run over center field. Can't believe it either. I don't care if he never gets another hit. Thanks, Nick.

I doubt very seriously that he ends up starting. We can bump this thread a year from now, but I don't see him starting

Felix 2-hit complete game shutout of Yankees.

Just another day at the ballpark for the best pitcher in baseball.

Take a hike, VVV.

he threw very well today, assisted by personally knocking a cleanup hitter out of the lineup

Where were you May 16th? Today doesn't prove he's at the top

I'm not sure what they'll do, but if I'm the Reds thinking about cost and health I would keep him as the closer

Starters get hurt more and demand more money while closer is a huge part of the game now with a hand in almost all W's

Felix is great, but VVV likes fun stats like wins and losses when they dont mean shit.

I found a crazy example yesterday. Mat Latos has nearly identical stats in k/9, bb/9, hr/9, babip, everything, and last yr with SD he was 9-14 and this year hes 9-3 with Cincy lol. If King Felix played for NY he'd probably never lose, even in the AL East. By Age, Felix is better than Verlander in nearly every category.

Seattle isn't near the launching pad that NY is he would see a but of a numbers increase but for sure he would be a potential 20 game Winner every year with that run support
