While I massively disagree with Nick and his childish quitting threat. He does raise a point about Boston minors. This does nothing if Corey doesn't open up his minors as well as he has replacements for everyone who are just as good. Now if it was like 15 major and 15 minor to be drafted, would prob help even it out but just majors probably won't

Can be drafted from the Boston organization. You want to go young, take a prospect. Want to win now? Take a MLB guy.

I didnt read any further than this post so far, but I voted No.
For once, I agree completely with nicks thought above.

No freebies in this league!
Boston worked for what he has and he deserves to reap the fruits of his labor.
We dealt with Cincy in the past, no different now.
And my vote will not change if he goes on to win 10 of the next 10 world series.

As sad as it is, I agree with nick again here.

Look, we created this monster and guys continue trading with him to allow him to continue this cycle.
I am not sure what the immersion answer is, but Corey giving up his players is not one of them.

This is an answer, just one you don't like. Corey gives away guys and his team gets worse and it evens it out.

Another answer is restart but that will likely have us lose a few guys and get rid of our awesome history.

Or we do nothing, he dominates for 10-15 seasons, we lose a few guys who lose interest and worst case scenario, die.

And you don't think Corey can build a team like this again?
Sorry, but I am not a favor of a guy tearing apart his team because the rest of us aren't good enough to figure out how to get our teams where his is yet.
I chose to join the same division he was in knowing he was already dominant.
To be the best, you have to beat the best.

I am not trying to argue like nick, but I do agree with nick that I hate that people are actually voting yes for this.
Corey, in no way, should trade away his players in a draft because the rest of the league can't figure out a way to beat him or they continue trading with him to keep his cycle going.

Devils advocate here....

everyone is having to deal with this juggernaut due to a couple of people trading away stud after stud.

I think Corey started this because he sees interest starting to waiver when you know you have basically no chance to compete against the force he has built. Please correct me if I am wrong Corey

I agree that is why he did it and as plasma stated, it shows what a stand up guy Corey is, but I am not a fan of this idea at all.
If we had to pick, I would choose restart over this option. Just my opinion.

At this point barring a major change in the votes, we will not be proceeding with this option as it is too close of a vote for such a major change.

I will be uploading a new file tomorrow most likely so this will stay open throughout the day.

Please submit at other winter meeting topics as you feel we need. Thanks for all the feedback.

Corey has achieved this team via, IFA and trades. And those trades are with less than 10 teams, 2/3 teams that haven't traded away players are dealing with it

as a founding father, i want a rule added to all votes, including this, going forward. a non vote is a "no" until they've voted. so its 18-12 NO. suckers

Then let's get rid of all the lame duck owners.

But this won't work. All you have to do is reword the question so a no vote equals to it passing. (Should we keep (insert whatever here) the same? No means it'll pass. C'mon Nick, you are good at word play, this one wouldn't work
