It's nothing like FD/DK. You simply go to the site each week, draft a team against their computer simulator and if you win, you can win some cash, or you win points that will let you enter into cash games. You NEVER have to deposit money. It's something to do on the side. You can draft multiple times a week.. I believe the limit is once per day.

To follow up on this... they are having a $100,000 tournament of champions at the end of the football season. The only way in is to win a league... you can't buy in and you can't deposit money on the site. You can have up to 7 entries from winning your leagues throughout the weeks. As it is, I have 3 entries into the big tournament.

It also rates you drafting skill and tells you how you generally rate against other players. I currently have an 81.4 Skyll rating, which is the 90th percentile. :-)

Blog post about why it's free to play right now. (ramp up period basically)

As for cash outs, I can confirm that they will mail you a check. It took me about a week to get mine.

What are your thoughts on nights like tonight?
What I am asking is, if I look at the NBA items that I can enter, there are only 2 games going on tonight.
Is it worth trying since everyone entering will have 4 teams to pick 9 guys from?

I fell about 56 points short of my projection(upgrade from last night's 30), losing my h2h by 75 and finishing 38th of 40 in my 50/50. Gross!

Noel was injured, Aflalo did nothing, and while Cousins had almost 40 for me, he played only 22 minutes.

Still loving this though. Hoping to learn if these rosters of mine have flaws or I'm just running into bad luck my first 2 nights...or a bit of both.

I have to learn that, too. I fucking killed it tonight (scoring 299) and placing in every reasonable match. However, I was one big performance away from getting into the serious money of a big tournament and that's where I want to see if I can't improve.

With that said, apparently I've got about $80 in rewards points on DraftKings... hmmmm.
This is my fault isn't it?

I ran to Nick asking if you still do this; he says yes. I talk to you and run back to Nick and start talking to him. You told me about BM and I sign up there. Nick starts this thread.

So, sorry!

Sorry, I think Corey and I may get credit for this one.

Maybe we can share the blame? :)

I would assume that today is the day to join the bigger games (like 1200-man games that pay 250 spots) because you are going to want as much variance as possible. Let's see if I ASS-U-ME

Don't play. I usually wouldn't mess with 3 games or less.

Back to this... it probably goes without saying that the easiest way to win money/get entries into that $100k tournament is to draft your free team every day. Keep track of the teams that you drafted and diversify your teams so that you have a better shot of winning 1 of the 10 team leagues that you're in. It is Fan vs Machine, so you're drafting against a computer, which does have patterns. Make note of guys that you can steal later in the draft each week.

You can do it. I don't have any statistical evidence that says that I did better or worse... just my own confirmation bias. Building a team can be very tricky. With that said... one of those last minute injury swaps on a 3 game night can be quite impactful.

Does BM work for CBB as well or is CBB not the same kind of process as the NBA?
