This thread got real quiet.

I wonder if guys just stopped posting, or if some issues are fixed...or if we're just avoiding the "bad" times to download.

ive been avoiding the bad times plus gave up posting. hence i wake up at 8 am now to get them, Todays needs to hurry. Tired need go back n take nap

I have been avoiding the bad times.
I download in the morning as soon as Reign posts that it is available.

If I am not around and it gets to be late afternoon, then I do not even try till the next morning before work.

my file crashed my game yesterday... try again when i get home from work and see if the new file fixes it or not

mine worked tonight.

My file and Ryan's files both said successful, but they are corrupt.

This is after a few weeks of no issues.
It took about 8 minutes and is corrupt.

Yep and now I just switched to backup file and got the same thing.

So 2 for 2 successful with corrupt. And then it force closes.

Ugh. good by to the logo's again.


Well so much for that also. The tar file wont extract. So i dunno

BigRy has this same issue happening, so I am going to wait till Reign can reply, I have an aim message out to him.

This is the first time I ever had an issue. Deleted everything in my saved_games folder and starting from scratch twice now and still nothing. Obviously I am missing something. Trying again for the third time.

Damn, I really need to tweak my rotation, but it looks like I'll hold off on downloading this sim til the next update.

I've download todays updated sim 3 times now and it downloads and installs to the last sim date. 8/9, WTF?

Just for clarification, Reign fixed some issue and things have been working for everyone now.

Had to do a complete redo of the file to get it to work. Old folders didn't work.

I don't know what the fuck is going on, but every time I try and download the file it stays at the same date. It's done this for 3 straight sims now. I have to grab the tar file and unzip to look at the current date.

I'm hesitant to post anything because if I do I'll probably have a fucked up file on the next download.... but I haven't had any problems at all in quite a while.

My backup finally worked. Carry on...

I just wanted to mention that things have been good lately.

Yesterday's file I didn't download till almost 7 PM eastern time and it came down in just a few minutes with no issues.

I haven't had a issue since moving and being able to have Comcast back. Fuck AT&T.

My file is downloading at a snails pace today. Slower that 13 ever did. Anyone else?

Mine was ok speed wise, but it is back to crashing my OOTP15.
It worked for 2 downloads after using my backup file, but now crashes again.
The download completes and you can see it say success in the background, but my OOTP15 has to be closed and reopened.
I am going to have to open a ticket on their site, but am wondering if it is something with our file.
