Once you stab him run away and hide. Sneak follow him around avoiding the plates on the ground. At some point he should crouch behind one of the tables waiting for you. Sneak behind at that point and stab him again. Run away and repeat. He needs to be stabbed 3 times.

im real close to quitting this great game cause of this part

Watch one of those YouTube walk throughs.

I have no shame in doing that when I get stuck. I want to enjoy the game and see the end.

My one advice to you. Do not do that with this game. I promise you; take your time, take your lumps, and deal with it. Also, one other tip, in a few instances, if you see the exit and you are full of health, throw a bottle one way and just fucking sprint to the exit.

If I am sitting on one part where I am stuck after multiple sessions of playing I am taking the easy way out after trying my ass off.

I suck at these types of games so the thrill of completing it is just as fun as actually playing it.

I only watch that one part and then close and move on.

Judge away

Never be afraid to simply toss a bottle one way and then run like hell. It is how I got past teh first time you see a bloater (when you turn on the generator). I died a few times, then scouted the path to the exit, and just booked it.

I agree but some scenes it's like a "boss" level and can't just run.

I think aj is on that type of scene.

change the game to easy mode and then switch it back when you are done. It took me a few times to get past that section. It's really all about stealth, crouching, and slow movements.

What's the benefit on not playing in easy mode?

Supposedly the ending isn't different or no perks of a harder level.

Besides I guess those trophies you mention.

I had problems all over the fucking game at a lot of different parts and I got past that part in one try (the second stage of that incident took me a few extra times). Simply put, do not fucking move until he does and then put yourself in a better position. There will be a time where you are right next to him but you can't make a move because of the plates, just be patient.

Just depends on how much of a challenge you want. The story itself does not change.

I ran right pst these guys too. Stay to the right, throw one of the many bottles to the left and then run like hell. I dont think I killed anything there.

I just started playing last night and got a couple hours in. This is a damn good game.
Spoiler!
I just finished the part where you're in what I think was a subway station with all the little shops around the perimeter and clickers everywhere. It took me forever to notice the damned ladder up on the ledge. I also just had to have the parts from the safe in the bookstore and kept making too much noise killing the runner that was hanging out in there.

Had this same problem there. Took me forever to figure out how to get out. I never died, just wandered around for 20 minutes, stumbled upon that safe by complete accident.

yea, the shorter wait time between games really helped the 2nd 12 weeks go by quicker. The no party option was nice too. No more running into parties that worked well as a team.
