No, I think they do, and don't want to say anything that they could be held accountable for...The customer facing people are told to give the shortest downtime figure possible, and the actual time down and cause are never to be given out, as to not worry the customer base...meanwhile, the customer base gets more and more ticked off.

Which is why my original comment was questioning why they don't practice it. They are causing more problems / hatred by not being more up front.

I think all of this proves just how much some of you need to find other hobbies besides video games..............

Its like we have realized how big video games are in our life and we have to find other things to pass our time and entertain us.

One thing occured to me today, since they are "rebuilding the network from the ground up" will all our online stats and all that still be there?

PSN doesn't store your stats. If you are talking about COD that is stored on their servers and in your game saves on your machine. UNLESS you already bought into the "cloud". Then that is a different story.
