Deflate gate: man, these guys again. Still it’s just footballs so let’s see
Whatever this latest one is called: ok, fuck this team. Stop trying to cheat all the time!!!!!

The audio from the dude was pretty damning too. Even the biggest Pats homer ever in Bill Simmons said he can’t defend this one and it’s bad

Lets be serious, this had little to no impact at all in their run so its reaching at the highest degree. You can hate them for that but that seems trivial.

I think its more no one likes to see dynasties. The Warriors were beloved on their first run and then became hated as they kept winning and changed the game with their moves.

Everyone hates Alabama.
Clemson is starting to get all kinds of hate now.

Its just part of winning, the haters emerge.

I hate Steelers fans way more than I hate Patriots fans.
A lot of Steelers fans are just cocky and ass holes.

For the Patriots, people hate dynasties unless they are your favorite team.
And I agree about Bill not being likable.

In his career vs teams that finish the season with at least 10 wins, Cousins is 3-26, 0-10 as a Viking.

It's gonna happen today, isn' it?

I disagree that it’s trivial about the Pats. I like the Bears and I gamble so I really don’t care about most stuff but a lot of people hate them because all the cheating scandals. There are huge penalties for it. The fine and loss of draft picks the first time, Brady suspension the second time. If the Pats keep risking it still then I imagine it is pretty useful and helps them a lot.

As for the Warriors. I think most people started hating them when KD joined a 73 win team. If that didn’t happen I don’t think people start hating them like that

I think it’s a combination of all of it

I grew up 5-10 miles from Foxboro and didn’t know many Pats fans growing up. In early 90s everyone was a 49ers Cowboys Giants fan in that area and then as the team got better everyone started to become a fan. That was always the root of my distaste as I heard these newly created “die hards” celebrate.

I use all my pessimism in my life on my dislike of the Patriots (and some on being a Mets fan). I do think they bend the rules, but I think we’re naive to think all sports teams (or successful ones) aren’t cheating/bending rules whether it be thru stealing signs, pumping in noise, steroids, free agency manipulation, hacking other teams databases, paying recruits, whatever. It’s too big of a business and too much money on the line to assume people are doing things fairly.

I respect their consistency, but do a nice little fist pump when they lose

this will only be the 2nd time in 17 years a QB not named Brady, Manning, Rothlesburger comes out of the AFC

Setting up for a terrible super bowl imo unless Brees makes it and shel won’t let us forget how good he is!

over/under 1.5 more titles for Peyton if Brady is never a NFL QB.

I am pulling for the Chiefs as Mahomes is just a likeable fella and so damn fun to watch.

we've been spoiled AF. We've had like 1 bad super bowl in the last 20 years. I think as long as SF, Seattle or New Orleans comes out of the NFC it will be good... and not the Titans.

They will be good for a very long time but that defense is hot garbage and will keep them from being a Pats like dynasty

I get the feeling this season will be more likely that I'm crying about a 3rd straight heartbreak than winning a SB.

Saints are my wife’s team and I’ve become a closet fan over the years. They’ve had good fortune in Miami Super Bowls, I’m rooting for them but winning 3 games to get there rather than 2 is a tall order.

2009 was supposed to have exercised the demons, makeup for the Aints and the paper bags and all of that stuff. And it certainly did.

But the next 10 years have provided so much bad luck and heartbreak in the postseason. It's been rough.

Quit your complaining.

You have the Saints and LSU in contention for titles.

Must be nice!! :)
