I'm doing a brisket for the first time tomorrow. Also going to do a Chorizo BBQ Cabbage.

Smoking today with the brother in law and brewing some beer too.

Apple chips is our go to and smoking beef ribs chicken sausage

Testing my patience today. My son got his learner's permit yesterday and I am letting him drive while we run errands. Usually the wife does this because I am impatient by nature and overly protective of Jughead. The doors are off and I am just trying to be quite and just give some advice here and there. So far he has done well on his first leg.

He did alright. Went thru 2 stop signs in the neighborhood on our way home. On the main road he did good though

But he is driving a vehicle that looks like it just came from Iraq so he should be ok.

He did great up until that point. The 2 stop signs were within 1/2 mile from the house and we did around 6 miles round trip.
