Houston Alcoholics continue their hot ways . . . go 5-1 with a sweep of Indy and take 2 out of 3 from the cross town rival Habaneros.
1B Antonio Rivera goes 9/21 with 3 2Bs, 4 HRs and 8 RBIs on the week to help lead the way.
SP Juan Perez pitches another CG . . . getting a 5-1 over the Habaneros. He is now 10-3 since starting the season 0-5.
The YOUNG SPs lines this week:
Conrad Springer - 8.0IP, 5H, 3ER, 0BB, 8Ks in 6-3 win over Indy
Juan Perez - 9.0IP, 7H, 1ER, 0BB, 5K in 5-1 win over Habaneros
John Lewis - 8.0IP, 3H, 0ER, 4BB, 10K in 4-0 win over Habaneros
Houston A moves to within a 1/2 game of the WC . . .

Fuck, now I can't even load the NDL league. This is after two complete uninstall/reinstalls. I submitted a technical support ticket to OOTP. I'm effectively out until I get some help on this.

Did you uninstall and reinstall your entire OOTP file?
If you did reinstall OOTP, did you check for updates? I know one of the links on the site is not fully updated and you have to go into the game and check for the patches.

An SP is going to be available from Cincinnati... I just haven't decided which one yet. My money is on Wan, who is on the DL and 4 weeks out. (Others could be Garcia, Hairston or Rodriguez... Becker, Mejia, Rosa are staying, unless something blows me away)
Just 2 days left until the deadline fellas... are you a contender or a pretender?

Colorado continues to tease and only 6 games out of wild card or division is teasing us into contender status. The pitching has been dominant, Colorado sits at 2nd in the AL in earned runs, starter ERA and bullpen ERA. However, injuries to the starting lineup threaten to derail what little momentum Colorado has gained in runs per game.
Kyle Hamilton gets a call from AAA. A rejuvenation perhaps? Hamilton's scouting report says yes, if so, a hot streak from Kyle, with his power would be a boost as the Rams continue to climb their way back into having a chance.
