I've tried Dave, I really have.

I can't get over his annoying ass voice. Some of his content is great but having to listen to his voice for hours for a show, I can't do it.

Shel made me listen to it in 2 hour traffic and 5 minutes in I was about to walk home from Tampa. I couldn't take it anymore.

fair. he does have an annoying voice. he overemphasizes syllables on almost every sentence and its horrible. its actually rubbed off on a lot of the other guys on the show/station and now all of them do it. its really bad.

but his content is so good and refreshing that it overcomes it. there are very few, if any, sports people out there that 'get it' like he does. i listen to dan patrick and he puts on an entertaining show and he's funny and stuff, but the content isn't near as good. its just normal sports talk with a little more common sense. cowherd has some common sense as well but he's just too much of a character and too pompous. the beauty of lebby is he doesn't think he's smart, he just knows his shit. he'll admit when he's wrong which almost nobody does.

i still think it has a little more to do with typical corey hater-ade because me and shel love him so much
