Ho hum...
If you are talking about the Teddy slide in the red zone that was the right call. Smith did everything in his power to not touch him and he went for the hit same time Teddy started to slide and still missed him.

Did you see the same call on Dak earlier in the game?
Smith came in wayyyyyy later and made wayyyyyyy more contact.
That call, in the moment, was huge too.

I did see the Dak one and they got that wrong, it was terrible. Does not mean the Teddy one was not right lol

Smith trying to pull up is really not relevant. All that is relevant is the contact.
The contact may have not been very hard, but it caused Bridgewater's head to hit the turf and bounce off of it. And again, it was really, really late coming in with the contact.

I disagree that it was really really late. Good call there.
Now if we want to talk about atrocious calls we can talk about the Elliott fumble that clearly was not a fumble and was conclusive on replay.

What a bummer for the Bears. I am guessing Trubisky is done for the year and now we can't watch him suck all season and move on next year and he gets another shot. We are going to waste the window for this roster to win it with this dude

I am hoping Cam sits out the rest of the year and gets healthy and the Bears roll the dice on him next year. I just fear that we gave up so much to trade up for Mitch that they will say they need another year. We shall see, maybe he is not done for the year as I think he will be.

That angle he fell on screamed pain.
Not as bad as the Liones TE though who had a worse day.

The hurdling the defender thing is just a bad idea 99.9% of the time.
