Re: NFL Thread
What the what!??
How is a WR not allowed to go for the ball?
And the defensive player didn't make a play on the ball at all, he just straight up pushed the WR.

So pretty much every "You've got Mossed" is a PI now

Re: NFL Thread
The only question is when was the PI called. Did the WR push off in a break or something before the act of catching it?

Re: NFL Thread
Most TD passes thru their first 8 seasons:
Peyton Manning
Dan Marino
Cam Newton - WHAT?!?!? I never thought his career was that good. I get it, he's good. But is he top 10 QB of all time good? This little stat on Get Up blew me away

Re: NFL Thread
you can't compare football stats across generations because the game is apples to oranges what it used to be.
and no, he's not remotely close to a top 10 qb of all time

Re: NFL Thread
Do you think if he finishes top 5 in TD's for a career he'll make the HOF? I think he'd get in due to that but I just haven't thought of his career as a HOF career.DRiccio21 wrote:you can't compare football stats across generations because the game is apples to oranges what it used to be.

Huge disclaimer though, I am not an NFL fan and do not watch much of it at all.

Re: NFL Thread
I would assume he is in the hall of fame assuming he keeps up on his normal trajectory ... he was rookie of year and won an mvp and has been the face of a franchise and has the raw numbers to back him. His rushing numbers and rushing td numbers are going to be huge as well
I’d say it’s pretty safe to assume he’s a hall of fame guy

My wife spent an hour with him yesterday giving him an inside the ropes tour at East Lake. Said he was super nice and super funny.

Best college defensive player I've ever watched in person. I'm so glad the Jaguars got him. He single handedly won three games for Kentucky last year.DRWebs wrote:Josh Allen is a monster

Andrew Luck just informed the Colts he's retiring.
