i think we need to broaden what we're discussing. a lot of stuff has changed in the last 5 years when it comes to treatments and 'medicines'. Anti aging type treatments have skyrocketed in popularity, regenerating tissues, blood spinning, stem cell, younger blood being put into people, etc etc. i'm not super knowledgeable about this stuff but i'm familiar with a lot of the advancements that have been happening and i'm sure a lot of guys with good agents are being led towards these things. not everyone is sticking a needle in their ass to get stronger or something simple like it was in 1990.
also its certainly not 100% cause alot of these dudes simply can't afford some of these things. we assume all these guys are loaded but a large percentage of NFL players don't have the luxury to blow 20-100k on sustaining these types of treatments until they get that 1st big extension, which most guys don't ever get.
