I mean, dont people argue that Rodgers is better than Brady?
In fairness, Corey didn't even mention Brady. He just said we may never see a run like this in our lifetimes. 6 SBs in 9 seasons, kinda hard to argue that we will likely see that run in our lifetimes.
He didn't say we wouldn't see anyone as good as Brady again. Hell I'm out here like a crazy homer arguing that Tom Brady isn't automatically better than Brees like most think, but I still agree with Corey's statement lol.

well they didnt win 6 SBs in 9 seasons. they won 6 sbs in 9 SB attempts. which is great, incredible. But i think Mahomes is about to replace Brady as the routine SB Team. Hell, you could argue KC should be in it this yr (that laughable RTP on Brady).

That's wayyyy out on a limb.
I will be sure to bump this 20 seasons from now if you nailed it and Mahomes is in the vicinity of 6-3 in the SB.

Lowest rated SB in 10 years.
And in the least surprising news of the century, the New Orleans market was the least watched market in America, and the lowest all time in New Orleans.

This was nowhere near what we were discussing.
Corey asked if we'd ever see a run like this again. You said Mahomes and then proceeded to give the reason that he is the youngest to win an MVP. That means absolutely nothing to team success and the run the Patriots had over the past 15+ years (or however long it's been).

yes. I think in the next 15-18 seasons, Mahomes team will go to the superbowl 7-10 times. Hes the real deal and special and will be a tier + above all other QBs when Rodgers/Brees/Brady leave which will be real soon.

also is it impressive that Bradys been to 9 SBs in 17 years? or he 6-3 record? or both? cause isnt Lebron at 8 NBA Finals, 7 in a row? Isnt that just as impressive?

Given the history of great players in both sports, Brady is more impressive imo.
Also, it'll be increasingly difficult for Mahomes once he signs his mega contract. Teams just don't seem to win titles nearly as often once they begin paying their QB a huge % of the cap, and he's going to get the biggest contract we've ever seen by a wide margin.

This is why I think Brady is the greatest ever. He was doing it with guys that were told they were too small/slow and would never make it in the NFL. Welker, Hogan, Edleman all show that a great QB can make a WR look unworldly.

lol ya having Gronk and Aaron Hernandez in their prime was tough sledding for Brady. And Randy Moss. dunno how he did it with such inferior talent

Brady is an excellent quarterback who has been able to play his entire career with the same head coach.
This head coach was not afraid to change his strategy to adapt to player personnel and the direction of the league.
He also had the same quarterbacks coach/offensive coordinator every year he won the SB.
He has been durable to an extreme degree - missing games only in the season he blew out his knee and the season he was suspended for four games over 18 seasons as a starter.
Speaking nothing of stats, there is no quarterback in the history of the league that played under all of those circumstances.

In the AFC, 15 of the last 16 super bowls have had either Brady, Rothlesburger or Manning the starting QB... insane.
or 16 of 18... with the two outlier QBs being Flacco and Rich Gannon.

Imagine if the NFL had the same rules as MLB. PED suspension, no playoffs.
Julian Edelman
Hall of Fame talks?

I would love to know what percent of the NFL uses PED's. Gotta be 75% or higher
