6 teams within 3 games of each other battling for 2 AL wildcard spots.

Should be an exciting finish for us 6 mediocre, near .500 teams!!!

To late in the season, but the Scott Walker trade has really fired up the Cookeville boys. We might, big maybe, just make it to .500 this season {crosses fingers}

has any team ever had 2 guys hit 40 HRs in the same season?

HR's/Projected

Wayne Washington: 43/54
Juan Ontiveros: 31/39

Then another hit 30?
Tom Davidson: 26/33

2029, Hercules/Dr Evil combo. That's Hernandez/Mason from Cincy.

There's gonna be a 4th seed in the NL with 100 wins.

But just a couple of seasons ago, The last NL wildcard was worse than the AL's by a wide margin, if I recall. No need for yet another realignment :)

Also the overall quality of teams top to bottom plays a big role.

The AL has one team below . 400
The NL has 5 teams below .400
Both leagues have 8 teams .500 or above
AL has two teams @.490 close to.500-the NL has none

The AL is far more balanced than the NL
Did a quick tally, the AL is actually 8 games better than the NL head to head.

I hope its not me.

We are a 48-19 at home, 38-24 on the road. Winning the division will be pretty big for us if I remember meaning we get home field in round 1?

Been a while since I have had any type of playoff info to discuss.

Mike McGee is well on pace to break his innings pitched record. He'll have 2 full seasons in the bigs and the 2 highest innings pitched in league history. He should be ready for retirement at 27.

Now to get that ERA under.

You're guaranteed home field in your first playoff series by winning your division, whether it be by getting the 1st round bye or not.

That will be big for us with the big disparity in Home vs Away it seems.

Just need to hold off Philly is is just as hot as us which is crazy considering the numbers.

6 more against Philly with 3 being in the second to last week of the season.

Gonna be fun!!

3 times

Dallas 2019-- Had 3 guys with 40+ (O'Higgins, Burgos, & Romero) and 1 30+ (Valles)
Ohio 2021 - 40+ (Oliva & P. Lopez) 30+ (Peterson)
Hartford 2010 -- 40+ (Cruz & Brown) 30+ (Cortes)

2029 Cincinnati just missed, Hercules and Mason had 40+ but Hayden finished with 29

M. Lewis 40
S. Coleman 30
M. Henderson 26
G. Murray 25
2 tied with 20

Vancouver has the AL lead in HR's. I think this is the first time the Polar Bears have been an all or nothing hitting team.

I'm so glad Castaneda gave the middle finger to San Antonio and the Caucs.

He saw what we were building in Sheltown, he had the vision to look ahead to realize we would win 44 games that 1 year, and he jumped at the opportunity to be on that 44 win team!!!

Yeah, my scout fell in love with that guy in all three drafts he was in. #1 on the board each time.

It is apparent that the AL scouts/managers like offense. It has been a trend over a number of years that the AL vs. NL pitching/hitting has a different focus.
