Re: Twist OD - Y2 W3 (3/20)
Passing game went much smoother for Notre Dame this go round. We removed the red-shirt from our future superstar QB Taylor. Turns out his accuracy was 8 points better than anyone else on the team. It paid dividends immediately for the Irish. He only passed for 188 yards on the day but was 17/22 and tossed 3 TD's with 0 INT's while adding a rushing TD as well.
Will have to see how he does against another user though. The battle with Texas looms just a few weeks away.

Re: Twist OD - Y2 W3 (3/20)
vs Duke
73-18
Pass defense was myth for both sides in this game with 852 yards passing between the offenses. The Noles defense wasn't totally inept though, with piling up 9 sacks and keeping Duke from getting any type of a running game going. The Noles offense topped 700 yards, but oddly didn't seem defending Heisman winner Winston throw any touchdown passes. Time and time again the Noles receivers were pulled down inside the 5 or even closer to the goalline after long gains. Perhaps it was a fluke, perhaps it was because of the lack of many players with top end speed at receiver for the Noles, either way the running backs cashed in.

Re: Twist OD - Y2 W3 (3/20)
Playing a weak opponent and the 2nd string played much of the 3rd and all of the 4th with the backup QB throwing 3 passes. I believe I handled it very realistically, of course if I was rolling over a human opponent I'd never break 35, but against the cpu I'm using the mass subs and going heavy on the run plays but I am still going to keep playing. If I am wrong on this commish please straighten me out so I can understand what you want done when I'm the same spot next time.I_S33M_THAB33T_U wrote:Wasted Memory wrote:Online Sim Dynasty

Re: Twist OD - Y2 W3 (3/20)
I pulled my starters in the 4th quarter. I would've pulled sooner but it was only my 2nd game w this team and I was trying to get a feel for my whole team, as I have another user game next week and I'm still learning this team and this playbook.

S14: N Texas 7-1
S15: Wake 8-5
S16-21: Washington 9-4, 10-3, 8-5, 9-4, 7-6, 6-7
S22: Ohio 8-5
S23: ECU 12-2
S24-26: Kentucky 8-5, 5-7, 5-7
Career: 102-61

Re: Twist OD - Y2 W3 (3/20)
I watch what's going on.
If I see a concerning score I usually check out the stats and who was scoring once the game is out of reach. I understand with the teams you guys have you're going to run into a cpu opponent that you're going to obliterate. I'm okay with this happening a game or two.
Now, get into 90 point games or players putting up just stupid numbers that would/will be a different story.

My return man kept getting me 35-40 yds from the endzone. I had 300 yds passing and 250 came in first half. I could've scored 100 if I wanted to but I was just trying different runs from diff formations and trying to see what I can/can't do w this team.
Won't be a recurring thing, esp since I'm in the SEC

Re: Twist OD - Y2 W3 (3/20)
Ya, you won't see a 1st stringer scoring a TD for me in the 4th quarter most of the season I would assume. And since I've got a much better RB situation than I had last season I'll be running it a ton more, so it's not very likely that Winston will get a chance at a 2nd Heisman.

Re: Twist OD - Y2 W3 (3/20)
We had a bunch of scores like this last season (including me of all people) and it was never an issue. Don't see why it would be an issue now.I_S33M_THAB33T_U wrote:Wasted Memory wrote:Online Sim Dynasty

Oregon won...game froze at the "win a game" screen...not sure how to handle this. I'm not playing again, obviously...
