Have to agree. Rain should have had 2 TDs but his QB way overthrown his guys on simple routes

Yep, mine was horrible as well. The settings, believe it or not, are the same one's from the last half of last season. I didn't change a thing. I believe I am going to bump the accuracy up to 10 from 5 though. One thing you have to pay attention to when passing, which is something I do like about these settings is touch. Another is what your QB is doing, if he's scrambling to the right and tries to throw to the left he's going to be off. Making sure he is set is a must.

Changing passing sliders? Okay, but I'm of opinion that is all about timing and your QBs rhythm. What has worked so well for me is going for as many short passes early on as I can, and not taking any shots till I've gotten on a bit of a roll. That and if your QB was under pressure when he tried to make those throws the accuracy seems to noticeably fall, even if the pass is gone before he is touched.

ya, but think to our game . . . when we played, I tried to slow easy WIDE OPEN slants with NO pressure what so ever and my QB threw the ball to absolutely no one. So, while I agree that the QB needs to stay under control during throws, my QB was and still threw like shit . . .

Me and Jsence had no problem passing IMO. We had no problem with missing wide open receivers. The picks that were made weren't necessarily miscues by the QB AI, it was good plays by the defender, or a mis read of a throw on my part.

Bear in mind I'm not making a dramatic change to passing sliders. Going from a 5 to a 10 is just one jump up.

Pengy hit the nail on the head too. Build your QB' S confidence early before going for the hard throws.

See, I had an 81 accuracy QB and I was doing fine. Only a few throws were way off target. Whit had a 98 ovr QB and he picked me apart unless he threw into coverage, and his only drops were when I was able to strip it with a defender.

I understand what everyone is saying, but my quarterback had no pressure on open wide receivers, and most of the passes were short. May be there is a difference in users game, because I have never seen these throws before...I was surprised at the short missed passes. Even Doc was missing on wide open passes, but we both hit on bombs, which should have never been completed. No worries, good game Doc, but I was just wondering if anyone else missed wide receivers that were wide open...short or immediate passes.

I'm thinking it was more of a hit or miss week. Some guys had good games while others didn't. Either way the ACC setting has been bumped up.

Just now saw this. I wish this had been posted somewhere in the title or something, it really screwed me over in recruiting as I had about 1000 points go unused.

Just a suggestion in the future, please put this in a different color/in the thread or somewhere that it won't be missed.

You mean like in the title of the thread? Where it shows the next scheduled advance date? ;)

I'll see what I can do for you.

To be fair I thought you meant we had adv to Week 2 on 3/16, not that it was due 3/16. I had no way of knowing or thinking that we would adv one week in less than a day. Just sucked cuz I spent 1000 points on scouting/schollys the first week and it was sitting there unused. I'll just have to pay better attention I guess.
