Look at her arms next time she's on TV. She's got a 26" wingspan.

My initial thought was Bulls and Wolves had a good deal for both but Bulls should have been able to keep the 16th. Every trade review I am reading is giving the Bulls an eff. Maybe my thirst for this team being broken up clouded my judgment.... Riccio, break this down for me

I think it works for both sides.

T'Wolves had too many B type players with upside who needed the ball in their hands to excel and now they really narrow that down to an obvious core nucleus of Wiggins/Butler/Towns. there is no question who their guys are and every player should have a defined role.

Bulls need to rebuild and get 2 capable players in return. Lavine alone could be well worth the deal if he can tighten his shot up and continues to progress and stay healthy. his athleticism is other worldly even in comparison to other NBA players. Dunn is a question mark, I personally don't get the hype around him but you get a chance at him. To me the Bulls have to blow it up regardless, to get a couple guys with upside back and to improve your pick a little is a decent grab

no trades are going to be perfectly fair for both sides, its just not how real life works out side of video games... given where both teams were, I think this helps each situation.

Adebayo is as good now as he's going to be. Low ceiling for him.

I agree with that Peay. Its always hard when you are giving up the best player in a deal but the Bulls were in desperate need of a true rebuild. If Lavine can give better effort defensively which he clearly has the athleticism to do he should be fine. I actually like Dunn mostly because he can play elite defense worst case which is valuable with how the league is played now. Markannen can hopefully be a high level stretch 4 and at least become an average rebounder. Main thing is we finally have a direction and now can at least position ourself for a top 5 pick and a shot at Michael Porter.

he's 6'10, pretty raw, really athletic and was playing high school basketball 15 months ago... i'll take the other side of peay's scouting report

guys like that don't just max out at 19 years old unless they lack desire to play the game.

his game is almost identical to Willie Reed's right now

Just looking at this roster though a big man is the least of their needs unless they truly believe he was the best available player.

I don't know what it is about him, but I don't like Jimmy Butler at all. I feel like he's selfish and struggles off of the ball. When you have Rubio as your PG, I don't see the fit.

Add to that... I love Zach LaVine. His knee injury is devastating, but hopefully he comes back close to full strength. Dunn is a bonus... reminds me of steady PG that will come in and run the team... he won't win the game, he won't lose the game. I like the kid that they drafted a lot, but I'm not sure that he is significantly different than Mirotic. Long-term, I think they get 2 starters here in Markkanen and LaVine and get rid of Butler who will be 28 this summer and would be wasting his remaining prime years on this team. If Dunn is more than a steady player, it's a huge win for them.

I'm not a Bulls fan at all, but I think they have some good young pieces. I don't know what it is, but I still hold on to the idea that Bobby Portis is eventually going to be a pretty solid starting PF/C in the league.
