one of the better signings in NDL:B history if he gives 300+ Ab's... more than likely will be a <1 mil per WAR player. crazy.

i'd give him the D Wade treatment. play him 2 games a week til the playoffs.
That's gotta be one of the most amazing contracts we've seen.

My only concern if I were Omaha is why is he asking for so little? That makes me wonder if Wu(the game itself) kinda knows the end is near, and he's not as good as the ratings suggest. Obviously, it's worth the "risk" though.

Wus eye/avoid k dropped dramatically but his contact is still high. Probably a lower OBP but still same AVG. cant complain even if he has an off yr for 4.5 mil

if guys aren't offering him anything else, they sign for less.

what he's asking for originally is a much better reflection of what the game thinks he is worth (give or take with greed factored in).

i would have resigned Wu for 3 yrs if i had any money last yr. i was trying real hard to dump contracts to get the money to pay him. he could fall off dramatically and still be one of the best hitters in the league. the key with him is you need a DH spot open and its a huge injury risk, obviously.

Jesus make a trade so I can move McDaniel to DH and get him out of the field and he still gets hurt for 7 weeks in the 1st game of the year, Broken Thumb. This Fucking guy is on my last nerve.

He gets a $3M bonus if he gets 550 plate appearances. Not sure he'll get that even if he stays healthy as I have Franks relieving him every 4 games. Also gets a cool Million if he wins batter of the year.

Just looked to see what his extension wants are and he wants 3 years at $14M per season, looks like I got him for cheap.

My owner is a FUCKING moron . . .

His emails states:
Randall,

I have now decided on the goal for the coming season. After evaluating several factors, I have come to the conclusion that you should win it all this year!

Good Luck!

Do we have any rules for those bonuses like plate appearances, awards and stuff? I know we do for option years but wasn't sure for these bonuses and if the impact is as big in a guy signing as the option years are.

Just making sure for future reference and not pointing at George. :)

San Antonio starts season 5-2.

Top 3 in batting order produced for the Generals...

A. Medina : 28 AB, 12 H, 0 HR, 2 RBI, .429 AVG, 1.036 OPSP.
Estelles : 25 AB, 10 H, 4 HR, 10 RBI, .400 AVG, 1.396 OPS
J. Williams : 30 AB, 16 H, 2 HR, 6 RBI, .533 AVG, 1.282 OPS

Somehow Jim Williams robs Alfredo Hernandez of NL POTW honors. He did bat .533 for the week, which included an 0-5 game. But Hernandez wow, .400 7HR 18RBI.

Higgy returns to San Antonio with a 3 HR 9RBI week and newcomer Jermaine Stark went 2-0 with a 1.72 era.

I don't think there's a number, but if it was aggressive I'd guess it would fall under this: http://onlinedynasty.net/forum/viewtopi ... 09&t=31994

Wasn't trying to bend or take advantage of any rules. Was trying to get a guy to replace the leader in BA over the last two seasons. Had to be creative since I barely have any money and Sanders wouldn't sign at $8m per.

3-4 start for the Aces.

Great news is we were able to win our first game ever in Toronto in front of over 38,000 Aceholes. National anthems were sung by Rush. Beloved Mayor Rob Ford was asked to throw out the first pitch, but was quite embarrassed when instead of pulling out a baseball, he threw an 8-ball. The crowd had a good chuckle with an overwhelming attitude of "Oh that Mayor of ours!"

As for the game itself, the fans were not dissapointed.

There was a nip in the air, as the gametime temperature was announced at 10 degrees Celsius. Victor "Nails" Romo got the start in this one and he showed he was ready. New York hitters had no answers for what Romo was dealing. Aside from the 4 walks Romo was nearly unhittable. His line looked like this: 6.2IP 3H 0R 4BB 7K.
The Launch managed to forge a strong comeback late in the game but just came up short as the Aces held on for the 4-3 victory. The off-season signing of Todd Walker paid off early as he launched a solo shot in the third to give the Aces the 1-0 lead and their first ever run in Toronto.

Tough to lose Gutierrez in the first week of the season but hopefully the newly acquired Lance Childers can come up big in his absence.

Also really happy to see us jump to 7th in Top Minor League Systems and Eddie O'Neal is now the 7th rated prospect in NDL. We have 4 younsters in the minors that are ready to make the jump to the big leagues according to our scout, they are: O'Neal, OF Cris Sanchez, CL Carlos Rosas and CL Jerry Porter.
We gave serious thought about calling up both O'Neal and Sanchez during Spring Training but eventually decided to wait one more season and give them both a full year in AAA. Now with Gutierrez going down we have a decision to make. We can either try to patch our lineup from what we have on our 40 man roster or bring up the youngster Sanchez to see what he can do. It's more than likely that veteran Lance Childers will fill in for Gutierrez.

We may not be going all the way this season but are extremely happy to see our progress thus far and are very excited and optimistic for what our future holds.

your offer was very realistic. especially considering the injury concerns. 550 might be a bit much since he's got very little chance at 550 but thats splitting hairs.

i think he was just saying in general and i think Seeit hit nail on head.
