Not that I have much to complain about with Tampa this season, but I'm curious as to the thinking on their last drive. Why not sneak with Freeman...and more importantly why burn a timeout before if you're going for it? They really didn't deserve to be in the game anyway, but I'm confused about the decisions down the stretch...thankfully Carolina is up next

just think of it this way: your team is starting to turn the corner, but you get one more year of a high first round pick. Detroit should challenge for playoffs in the coming years

cant think like that with the lions. especially since we dont have a qb 75% of the time

at least he played 99% of the game before he got hurt today. Stafford, while rarely not injured, looks like he can help the team as long as he plays.

I agree, that was just the angle of the hits, and not so much someone going for collie's head. Doesn't look good for Collie, when your arms do what his did, not a good sign (like the rutger's guys legs)

yeah it sucks that he got hurt. but just because it was a big hit it went from a fumble and phillys ball, to an incompletion and first down for colts.

Agree so much here....there was nothing wrong with that hit and absolutely nothing intentional. Bullshit flag and bullshit call as it was a fumble.

Collie didn't even give a thumbs up as he was carted off the field. You could see him blinking his eyes, and that was about it as far as movement.

the play clock was about to run out, and actually did get to zeroes but morris ran about 40 yards into the endzone to call the timeout.
I guess he figured 4th and 1 was more likely than 4th and 6.
As a Falcons fan I was happy!

Shouldn't have been that close anyway, but I will take the win. Now hope they can get ready for a short week and take care of the ravens.
Still can't believe they gave up 40 or so on 3rd and 11 from the 5. Damn that was a frustrating moment.

very surprised they said it was only a concussion. it looked like he was in much worse shape.

hitting a defenseless reciever... apparently lowering your shoulders and ducking your head isnt defending yourself...

Like Cowher said on the halftime show, regardless of intent of the eagle player, there was a helmet to helmet on the play. Call the penalty on that, but none of the Eagles should be fined for the hit.

There should be four flags per play on the helmet-to-helmet hits on the line of scrimmage every play. I guess the NFL doesn't get brownie points for those.
