I could have sworn you were playing up the "gangbang" angle.

Never saw renaming the female forum coming. Blindsided.

This would be a good time for one of your conspiracy theories. 8-)

agreed.

I know you guys dont think so but MOST guys will let a team slide if a true fan has their chance at them.

if you announce it on the boards in a nice way, chances are you'll get them.

Now, that being said, you cant bust on the scene saying you're a USC fan while living in Virginia and having a 64th draft pick and expect that to work.

the example i was talking about with peay and jeff would be more because of their situations...not just an "average" case like biffy's or weiser.

btw weiser, who is your team you havent been able to get? I thought cincy was your team?
The season I got WVU it was most definitely because the guys above me let them slide. Season didn't go the way I wanted, but still was a great moment for me. I got a lot of congrats after the pick. Now I just need to get them back... :)

The NDL doesn't tolerate posts like this without details. :x
I was a drunk, belligerent ass hat at the ECU game last year when we lost. I did a couple of stupid things and really thought she was going to leave. One of the things that always drove her nuts was the amount of time I spent playing in the league. I offered up quitting as a peace offering. I played in the online dynasty that RanDawg started, but that was it. I only played when she was at work or asleep. I paid my penance and she knows how much I love the league and the game, so she has let it slide. In turn, I put in a lot more time doing things she wants to do. Give and take is what marriage is all about.

I was told about the ndl from victim and stampy pampy back when we were together in the xmg madden football league. I decided to check it out, and joined the farm and was called up after playing 5 games down there. I took over va tech I think in season 7 and the rest is history. I then talked black rain and bushwick tarheel to join. its been a great ride and well run league. I was very impressed.
I have meet some real nice people being in the league, and that vegas convention has a great experience to actually put a face and personality behind the user name. what's funny, the way I thought of these guys before I meet then , is exactly what I expected. just college football fans with a hobby of playing video games and our girls all think were frickin dorks.

LOL at Michigan being accurately rated in this game.

This is no offense to you or Michigan in general, but Michigan along with Florida St, are constantly ridiculously overrated in this game every year for about 5 years in a row now.
The developers have to be grads of the schools, because that is very true.

I'd love to see somebody write the history of the NDL. Key characters, key moments, all the good, bad, and ugly.

that would have to be some sort of group project so we get all the great stories from the people who know them... and i don't want any of my sexcapades published ! that shit is private!

I had a league going shortly before the idea of the NDL was being thrown around. I know some of the guys that were helping do a lot of the NDL leg work were in my league at the time. I was in a shit load of leagues back then and like an idiot told them I didn't have the time for another one. Small leagues were pretty easy to come by at the time and were actually usually pretty active. Jumped in after the first season, was lucky enough to get Utah St. and went undefeated untli the last game of the season I think. Then got K-State the next season and was an idiot and quit mid-season. Just really got tired of playing online and was just taking too much time in my life. Finally after not playing online at all, I reapplied, not thinking i'd get back in. Played a game or two in the farm and then moved on to Buffalo for Season 11 (took over for someone who hadn't played a game). So had to draft the following season and back to Utah St. I went. Not quiting this time, will have to be kicked out.

Im going to pull a shel here and take some credit for creating the female forum. :D

I used to always get IMs from Jeff telling me to stop posting scantily clad chicks in the off topic forum. So i said let me create a forum for just chicks and nakedness.

He complied and hence our female forum was born.

The ndl has never been the same and neither has a lot ofcoaches lotion supply. :?

i can verify you with the females section. thats your baby

i created the media section...I remember telling jeff that i wanted to in like season 4 and he "lol'd" me and said its not a good idea...and asked "why would we need to create ANOTHER forum"

I think he'd pass out from the subforum craziness that mike and I got into

also: remember the good ole days of multiple leagues...you'd goto LD and check some dude's profile and he was in like 8 leagues

No

shit

I was a regular in like 4 for a while but once the ndl came a calling it was like 2 and then only the ndl.

That's hilarious. Scrimming like 4 or 5 games a day, ALWAYS someone willing to play. Those were ps2 days. Now with the variety of awesome games and subpar NCAA versions for the ps3 those days are gone.

Damn this thread blew up since last night when i saw it.

I came in season 4. I was friends with this guy who helped bigry run his college bball league, and through that joined the csfl. My first ever game was vs champ and i remember i got reamed for being cheesy, but i had never played anyhtinb but lobby so i had alot to learn. somehow i got invited to socom by hoos and for a 3 month timespan i played with them guys everynight and it was the funnest gaming experience ive had. Seeit, hoos, deedub, jeff, nole, mike, daddy, carnell, ray, seeits glitcher friend aubie, the list goes on. man those were good days, socom is the only reason im in the ndl

I first heard of the NDL from being in the LOD (Actually was a decent league for a period of time). Played with Jake, AJ, Cheel, Nole, Nasty, Mike. Finally made the jump to the farm with AJ and Cheel. Played in the farm for almost a season, then got the call up in Season 9, well after Cheel and AJ :( Word was I passed deep to much. (From Hoos and Spidey)

Anyway, played half of season 9, all of season 10, then got booted/demoted back to the Farm midway through Season 11 when I had Cincinnati. Reason for the demotion? Fell asleep during a couple of games that season. I got the dreaded email the next day after falling asleep a 2nd time. Got the call back up for Season 12 and got Duke!! Season 13 - SMU!! Season 14 I drafted Iowa and have been with them since...

Good times...

No joke at all, but do you have narcolepsy or some sleep disorder or do you drink and just pass out mid game???
