I think we just hit a bit of a lull with the new NDL season and the time of year. Now that I can advance on a consistent deadline I think it will help people know when they have to get their games in. It ebbs and flows Pengy. That said, I'll advance when I get home.

Great game Talented.
Owls some how keep the streak alive as a game that was mostly even has big play after big play swing it back and forth with a 80 yard punt return giving KSU the lead in the 4th and then the Owls defense which has been just bad in the 1st half of most games this season once again has an amazing 4th quarter that really makes this coach wonder why they cannot play like that all the time.

Good stuff Tfan. That's a hell of a comeback. And congrats on keeping the streak alive Pengy. The Raiders got a big win at home over the previously undefeated Virginia Tech Hokies with several recruits in town. Looking forward to some commits next week.

Owls fail to keep it going. We rally to force overtime but fail to convert on a 4th and goal after a defense that hung tough all game long and blew up several screens gets blown up by a HB screen on V States only offensive play off OT. GG dude, real tough one to lose as now the Owls will have 1 loss and even if they run the table the rest of the way have no real chance of a championship it looks like.

the Pound/Pengy rivalry continued last night and was won this time by Coach RTP. Pengy and his Owls played one heck of a game. The Blazers had several chances to put this game out of reach, but costly turnovers allowed the Owls to hang around. Kennesaw State took advantage of every misfire from Valdosta State and tied the game up to send it to overtime with under 20 seconds left. After a quick score in OT the Blazer D stepped up in a big way, stopping the Owls on 4 straight downs inside the 5 yard line. The game ended with a goaline stand as the Blazers stopped the the KSU HB short of the goaline.

One heck of a game from Coach Penguin!! Really enjoyed it and look forward to another great one next season!

USM travelled to Memphis to take on the Tigers in a late night game. USM 5-4 was looking to become bowl eligible with the win in the Black and Blue Bowl rivalry.

Although the mediocre record, USM has been a powerhouse offensively. Today they set a long time record of 2060 held by Trevor Insley Nevada in 1999. With his 10th reception of the game Deandre Brown went over the 2060 mark to claim the record. Brown would end up with 12 catches and 282 of the 543 passing yards by JR QB Austin Davis.

With 2 games remaining USM is still trying to claw into the CUSA campionship game. Currently, they are tied with UCF at 5-2 in conference. UCF holds the tiebreaker with a 3 point win in head to head competion. UCF faces a 1-8 Rice squad while USM faces a 2-8 Tulane so the odds of USM making the championship game are slim.

Stat whore! :D Seriously though, good stuff Luis. I've lost more than I've ever lost before in one of these dynasties this season, but it's fun. I'm recruiting pretty well and building for the future. I also was down to my 3rd string QB for 3 of my early games. My defense must improve, but it's getting there. I think that's the fun of starting out with lower teams...you really have to build to win. Moving up to heisman has been challenging, but fun IMHO. The only thing I would like is a little more participation from the guys in the dynasty. There seems to be half that are very active, and half that don't even check. That's somewhat disheartening considering the time it takes to participate and run the thing.

I agree. Ive been getting owned becasue of my inability ot run the ball. Im going down to my #3 RB in most of my games now and hes so slow that he barely makes it up to ther line before hes hit.
