24-0 start by UK. Where is UCLAmacncheese?
Been watching Kentucky basketball for over 20 years. I've never seen anything like this before. I'm just enjoying the ride this season.

There's no reasoning with him when he gets like this.

Um.....our OOC schedule might be tougher than our conference schedule.
But hey, keep talking out of your ass while we continue to run teams out of the gym

You're right, I'm just a big homer....
I guess Seth Davis, Jay Bilas, Jay Williams, Adam Zagoria, Seth Greenberg, and KenPom are all homers too as they discuss our (increasingly likely) odds to go undefeated into the tournament if we beat UofL on Saturday.
Oh, and the other coaches, who have been around a while....guys like Rick Barnes, Steve Alford, etc....they must be homers too

those two things aren't mutually exclusive. you are the biggest homer. UK is good.

Then me saying that I'm "enjoying the ride" as we beat every team by double digits, have (right now) the highest KenPom rating in the history of his rankings, and now have an 80% chance of winning every game remaining (per his ratings) is me being unreasonable, per you? Cool story.

Reasons like this that I so hope Kentucky gets knocked off their high horse by someone that they least expect.

When your team is good, learn to be humble. Your team will do your talking for you!

Funny you mention that term, while he is a huge homer, one other thing isn't mutually exclusive either. He makes random comment that anyone else could make and no one would care, and multiple guys jump all over it, trying way too hard to jump on the jsence is a homer bandwagon.

It's whatever, Shel, but you're 100% right. All I meant was that, in 2011-12, I was nervous as hell the whole season because we hadn't won anything since 1998. This year, I'm not tense, I'm just enjoying watching the team play. But saying I'm "enjoying the ride" means I'm unreasonable
And Niddler, nothing I said was un-humble. I'm simply giving statistics. I didn't say we'd go 40-0 and win it all. I said that the numbers indicate that we have a great shot of doing what WSU did last year and go into the tournament unbeaten. I won't be upset if we lose a game (unless it's this Saturday) during the regular season, but I'm just having a blast watching this team play.

Just giving statistics can still make you sound like a jerk.
Just saying let it go. No matter what you say your team will perform how they perform.
Nothing you can do about it. Just sit back and enjoy it!

No that wasn't all he said.
He had to give a bunch of stats and brag about his team in typical jsence fashion.
But I forgot, it isn't bragging if it is just statistics.
