Either way we're going to have to. If he does pick CUSA that leaves you alone in the Sun Belt, if he goes Sun Belt than that leaves two teams in the East and none in the West.

I came close to telling Jason to repick the other night but thought someone might pick the other side of CUSA.

You're fine. It comes down to where RanDawg decides to go. Then I either have to straighten out CUSA or the Sun Belt.

take me out of Buffalo, and if Ran goes CUSA i'll take Texas State, and if Ran goes to Sun Belt, I'll take North Texas.

Actually, ODU was the team I had in mind from the outset; I just wanted to make sure they had an offensive line to actually allow for their realistic style of play

And we have pretty solid games

If I need to move to CUSA West, that's fine. Not like I'm gonna win the conference year one anyways

Laughing at the "make sure they had an offensive line to allow for their realistic style of play" Wouldn't they have to have it to run their offense? Maybe I misunderstand your statement.

Well I didn't know if they just had a solid passing game but no O-line to protect. I've seen it before with some of those lower teams. I liked what I saw, so I didn't even bother to look at another team.

And I'd say just throw him in the Sun Belt and avoid any issues that you know will arise

RANDAWG - You are in the Sun Belt Conference. Your choices are Idaho, New Mexico State, or Texas State.


For everyone else, join up and get everything ready. If possible we'll start tomorrow evening. If not, Friday morning.

PLEASE REVIEW THE RULES ON PAGE 1. In fact, here they are again:

OD RULES

*Minimum two user games a season. EVERYONE will play EVERYONE. Suck it up.
*Existing coaches (XP level will be set low).
*Three day advance when no user games. Four when there is.
*Custom sliders
*Conference Champs & Bowl Winners - You may NOT persuade early draft entrants into staying. Transfers can be.
*35/21 Rule. Your team goes up by 35 prior to the 4th quarter out come the starters (offense & defense) and accelerated clock is turned on. Up by 21 in the 4th quarter out come the starters (offense & defense) and accelerated clock is turned on.
*SIM Football. It's a video game, but keep some form of realism in your games.

I will be watching for violation of 35/21.

I did change the sliders slightly from the original post I had. Knocked down INT's and made our running game a tad more difficult.


I plan on leaving schedules as is for this season, excluding FCS teams. They will be removed and replaced with a user game.

time to get the spreadsheet set up so i know who to try and recruit

Buffalo is rdy to go. Hopefully CPU week one so I can level up a few

Wyoming has waaaay more uni combos than I was expecting!!!

Yep, and if he's in another conference, I'll play him once every few seasons, not once every year.

Everyone requests Pengy season 1 so they can kick him while he's down j/k

I'll have a user game w Wasted most likely, I'm down to play Pengy/Pino/Nick/Whit for an OOC. I do request a cupcake Week 1, if possible (as does everyone, I'm sure) so, as stated above, we can level up a little bit.
