Auburn still got in, because the team who finished third (Michigan State ) that season still had 2 losses, thus in the final BCS put Auburn in. When VT lost, I believe he missed out to another team with only 1 loss.

This was actually Season 22 homie. The championship game included Stanford and Michigan St (yourself) - both sitting at 12-1 at the time - each team having won their respective conference championship. The late loss decimated my chances of going to the title game, despite being #1 all season - I guess since I didn't have an conference hardware I was left on the outside looking in.

The point I'm making here is the fact this was happening in parallel with the real world events as LSU was undefeated and Alabama was witting at 11-1 http://www.bcsfootball.org/

Bama in real life didn't win their division nor did they win their conference, yet they were still voted in ahead of Oklahoma St (11-1, Big XII champs).

There are plenty of arguments on both sides of how that situation should have been handled - Nor is there one single truth on who is right and wrong.

Listen up I finally figured it out and this is the deal here. Whoever does get 2nd in the polls really didnt win at all because you still have to play Pimpin and I consider that really losing! (meaning hes gonna roll ya not that hes a bad player) So be happy you might be third and playing me in the rosebowl and crushing my hopes and dreams as you roll my Bruins!

ok well I guess sarcasm has faded in the NDL lately, so I will say this...

VT is solid but beatable of course, but I certainly am not going out of my way to play him in OOC or a championship game.

But I do love scrimming him especially when hes the DB and I throw at him haha
