lol, nasty already goaded me into a Nole rant once this month
you fucks arent getting me again
side note: 90% sure we will move to 2 seasons at some point. everyone who is for 3 seasons can thank our current leader for overriding me, Aj and Hoos "suggestions" to move to 2 NOW
before anyone threatens like a kid, "I wont play if we only do 2 seasons", the idea for now is 2 regular ndl seasons, then an official NDL "game" or 2 during the 6 weeks we usually have the last leg for.
war games, NDL:L, riccio's idea of super conf's if he were commish, stuff like that will be MUCH more prevalant and partipated in. That will allow us die hards to keep playing while giving a break to the guys who burned out faster.
We've talked with holmey as wekk and the "official" games will even have places in the HOF
Buckeye made the right call because we still have some leg work to do such as coaching reports for those games, and rules about how it can impact your regular ndl standing if you turn into a cheesehead...or dickhead
just fyi and a heads up....it may not happen for 5-6 years..even then we may try it once, then go back to 3 with substantiation but i think imo it is coming

I was apart of the Utopia community for several years.
NCAA 2004 that place was insanely active with guys playing every night. NCAA 09 I was in a few online dynasties (360) there that always died midway through first season. The quality of the game has dropped so far even the community sites are struggling.

Seems like it would hard to "round up" everyone come July after that long of a layoff.
Thank you for your question Block. Hooscare is all about playing games and not about sitting around for 8 months. I propose that there are several different options for a 3rd season. Basketball and soccer have been very popular and we could go that direction.
Certainly, an NFL style football 3rd season is available for those that are interested.
Instead of forcing a 3rd season on everybody we provide several options that keep all the fine people of the NDL around. There are a lot of options out there in gaming world and it’s time to diversify the NDL.
Would this be like the NDL:L forum that's at the bottom. I've been trying to figure out what that was since it looks like it only ran one season.

I was gonna post, I dont know if it'd work or fly, but a MMA style "league" on the side, where we have champs, and they defend, and others play to move up the ranks, and we could have "BCS Champ" and "Non BCS Champ" or East/West, etc etc.

Yeah thats the truth. I've played in the Utopia Vets OD over there for the past three years and halfway through the year if someone drops out the spot is usually tough to fill and we've had to take some site newbs to fill the spot which is always a crapshoot. That was the biggest thing that drew me to the NDL. Everyone here, for the most part, plays extremely sim. I find it tough to play games out side of the league now because of this. I cringe when I play someone and see "+3 Play the Pass" pop up after they have a pass deflection.
Utopia has really slown down a lot as well because half the site broke away to form The Gaming Tailgate last year after a dispute on how they should/could react to EA. TGT guys are very pro-ea while Utopia is now very anti-EA to the point where EA has cut ties with the site and no longer acknowledges them.

There should be an uptick in the responsibilities of a coach if that will be the case.

Interesting, I know when I started looking up NCAA 12 info and went to the Gaming Tailgate I saw a lot of familiar names from Utopia and always wondered what happened. Thanks for filling me in.
