How can you take your "bye" week after half the league is eliminated and you see how things unfold?
If its allowed by the rules, its genius but pretty lame rules then.

nope, my contest, I put the rules that you can change your pick up to the kick off of your game. I also stated that you can join week 2 but you obviously use your bye week 1. ive been in a ton of these over the years and a VERY common strategy is to use your bye week 1. Plus I stated before the competition started that this was ok and no one questioned it. I thought Cam Newton was going to ruin my pick and lead the panthers to a win over the Cardinals. The cardinals seemed ok with that because they didnt want to cover any receivers until the 4th quarter.

Had a bad feeling in that first half he was going to explode which he did but made a bad decision to go short on the last play of the game.
