Re: Creative Minds Dynasty
San Diego Tech upsets the #2 Oregon Ducks by a score of 35-28. The Anchormen were led by QB Ron Burgundy and RB Brian Fantana. Burgundy went 12/16 passing for 172 yards and 3 TDs while Fantana carried the rock a whopping 34 times for 129 yards and a TD. The biggest play of the game came in the first quarter as Oregon took possession at the SDIT 25 yard line following a Burgundy INT. The Ducks ran a speed option left and Anchorman SS Brett Stegall broke up the pitch then scooped the ball off the ground and sprinted 75 yards for a TD. San Diego Tech is now 3-1 and next week will see them leave the comfort of the newsroom to do some field reporting at Cal.
GG Oregon but I don't appreciate the constant no-huddle and speed options. Your coach's reports will reflect this. Asshole.

Virginia Tech ran into a buzzsaw when they visited the NW Florida Dawgpound and got blown out 52 - 15. Crestview forced 5 turnovers in the game and back-up running back Jerry Kaplan rushed for 120 yds and 3 scores.
Re: Creative Minds Dynasty
South Park has two backs rush for over 100 yds each, with each taking one at least 85 yds on a dive play, as the Cows destroyed Wake Forest 45-0. Starting HB Kenny McCormick, despite being so poor he can only afford one cleat, took a dive play 93 yds to paydirt en route to a 146 yd performance, and backup Boyd Simmons took one of his 5 carries for 85 yds in the final seconds on another dive play, as he rushed for 116 yds--a 23.2 yd average. Starting QB Stan Marsh had a subpar game, going only 14 of 31 for 238 yds, 2 TDs and 2 INT. But his top guy on the day was TE Craig Tucker who had 5 grabs for 89 yds and a score. On defense, LB Mr Hat, despite having someone fisting him much of the game, came up with a big interception on a Wake drive, and Token Black had a sack on 4th and goal inside the South park 5, ending the only real shot Wake had at points the entire game.
South Park now sits at a very respectable 3-1 with games against Stanford and Oregon coming up in the next few weeks. The Cows will host Arizona State next week and hope to be ranked when they do.

Re: Creative Minds Dynasty
San Diego Tech manages to overcome a 35-14 fourth quarter deficit to comeback and win 49-42 in double overtime at Cal. This was a hard hitting game from the start as both sides lost fumbles due to big hits from defenders. The Cal running game was fierce as HB Isi Sofele exploded for several big runs out of nowhere. The Anchormen were able to storm back in the fourth quarter on the arm of QB Ron Burgundy despite his missing several plays with back spasms. The Anchormen ground out a score in the second overtime to take the lead and then on the first play of the Bears' possession Cal QB Brock Mansion was intercepted in the end zone to secure the unlikely win for the Anchormen. SDIT now stands at 4-1.
Re: Creative Minds Dynasty
Stan Marsh throws for over 500 yds and sets a school record for passing, and throws 4 touchdowns (could've had more but he threw two picks inside the 15, one of which went for a 98 yd pick six) in a 45-31 win over Arizona State. The Cows trailed 21-13 at half and had to stage a 4th quarter comeback, thanks partly to his great passing and aided by some horrible decisions by ASU (like calling an 8 man blitz on 3rd and 20 with ASU having 5 wideouts, leading to an easy 70 yd game winning TD), and great games from his wideouts, as four of them had 84 or more yds receiving. The team also got an unbelievable game out of DT Token Black, who some believe used his family's wealth to pay off ASU's Oline as he recorded 5 sacks on the game.
The Cows now sit at 4-1 going into a tough stretch that includes games with Stanford, Washington, and Oregon.

Crestview climbed above .500 to 3 -2 as they defeated the visiting #20 ranked Arizona Wildcats 49- 10. Crestview had problems early with the scrambling ability of QB Nick Foles but adapted and shut the Wildcats down. Crestview exploded for 21 points in the final 2:50 of the second quarter to put the visiting team on the ropes. A 21 point 3rd quarter knocked them out. Arizona looked like they might climb back into the game when they intercepted a Hills pass on the opening drive of the half and scored 3 plays later to cut the lead to 21 - 10. Hills responded with a 64 yard bomb to Z. Coleman on the next drive to quell any thoughts of a comeback though. Crestview tacked on 2 pick sixes on consectuive drives to secure the win. The Bulldogs back-ups added another TD in trash time to complete the scoring.
