Seattle releases Housh in an attempt to get younger. They are really high on Mike Williams.
Housh also has some temper problems.
They will probably start Williams and Branch with Tate and Butler behind them. I like it.
As for LeRoy Hill, we cleared the remaining years of his contract so they are shopping him, but I have no connections that could get him to Detroit. I don't really like the idea, but what do I know.
I just hope we stay healthy since depth isn't our strength. If we start slow I'd like to see Carroll give Whitehurst a chance. He hasn't been brilliant during the pre-season but I think the kid has potential. Might I suggest a shave, too.
Some Hawks fans think all of these moves are just giving up the season and the team is just racing for Locker. Personally I disagree. I also think Locker will be a bust.
One good thing coming out of Seattle is the rumor that we are going after V Jack. There were also rumors about getting Brandon Marshall but the Seahawks will always be cheap. The price will have to come down on Jackson for us to do anything.
I can see us picking up Leinhart as well since Carroll is our coach. I don't really want Leinhart on the squad but we did cut Losman today. With Hasselbeck's injury problems I don't see us carrying just 2 QBs.

It never ceases to amaze me how sensitive athletes are.
Randy Moss says he doesn't feel wanted in NE.
Shut up and go catch passes.

I agree Shel.
In other news: Revis signs, Leinhart signs with Houston, houshmanzadeh signs one year deal with Ravens.

Thursday can't come soon enough.
In terms of coaches, Brad Childress has got to be the biggest douche of em all. That guy just irks me. I think we need to call the Wahmbulance for him.

And tonight it begins.
Don't really have a rooting interest in this game but it should be a goodie!

Agreed. I love NFL football. The only day college football trumps NFL is on Saturday and during bowl season.

Don't start with this shit. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of "Bourbon culture", Katrina flashbacks, and "New Orleans loves their Saints more than any other city" bullshit last season. They focused on football. You should, too.
Go Favre!!!

And the Hollywood Saints Hate Train has begun.
Because Brees wouldn't have a field day if if they were playing.
