fyi everyone, we have had several discussions in admin on this including one right before this last season.

The bottom line is you have to look at it from an admin view not an emotional one.

Banning the feature(s) use is like banning everyone from using the analog stick and forcing them to use the d-pad for control.

We simply cant monitor it all. Some features like impact blocking / the other blocking thing..big run..dont give strat points....then the question becomes "is your opponent using them..and how can u tell?"

THEN, we as admin will begin to get a shitload of complains saying "i think" this person did this or i think this person did that..and we have no way to substantiate any of it.

play the run was banned (during mid-season) because it was BLATANTLY obvious when it was used and to prove it..all anyone has to do is save highlights after the game then provide a commish with links.

I'm sure even the guys who use the feature would like them to just plain and simple not be there. EA unfortunately designed a game though where they are intended to be used (imo)

that being said, the "best" solution is to trust that you are all mature adults and can determine moderation on a game by game basis.

I go 80% of my games without using anything. In some games...i lost to michigan state and fsu with oklahoma...i did use them because both teams started out like 9 for 11 passing and the 2 were drops. I'm 99% sure neither coach had an issue with me using aggresive man and zone to try to get some kind of coverage....if they did...i would be fully accepting if it was their opinion to dock my points for it..its their opinion.....thats what coaches reports are....opinions...judgements.

If the features are in the game next year we may go the other route and make the rule to ban them all....but all that will do is bring in a whole new wave of issues back to people suspecting others of using stuff.

lets just hope they take it out (like impact players and etc) or give us the ability to turn it off

for now I'd recommend just play the games, try to have fun. if coaches report is your #1 priority, dont use em...if winning is...use them.....if both are...just like life which isnt fair sometimes...you have to try to do your best to find a balance which gets you the best possible results of both.
