Feelsbadman....glad I'm not in your division anymore. I keep looking at all the divisions and they all look like they could be bloobaths.
AL East - Miami and Prosper fighting off a young NE.
AL Central - You and George fighting off an underrated Ann Arbor and a young Lakers. Cookeville isn't as bad as their record last year either.
AL West - Battle of the underwater teams. Bowie and Phi both super underwater lol. Seattle is good and was stuck in a division with Big Ry and Billy. Cleveland has an insane farm.
NL East - Winterfell and San Antonio murder each other. Rhode Island is young and getting better.
NL Central - Bloordale just won the East and Mike knows wtf he is doing. BigRy is of course always good. Edmonton is good even though AI lol. San Fran stacking up their system like crazy too. Detroit mini rebuild could be over.
NL West - Billy's team is young and getting better. LA always has crazy good pitching. SD and Shelby stacking specs.
The more I look I think the system I used did a pretty good job setting up some competitive divisions. I guess we'll know in 10 years.

Most of these young guys in AAA will hit my MLs for the upcoming season and hopefully we can start to be competitive again.
Then we have a few good SPs coming up over the next season or two and can hopefully get back in the thick of things.

Just realized this was my organization (Houston/Hollywood/any team it was before)'s first NDL title.
They won an USBL title in 2016 as the Kentucky Stars? What is that?

You need 15 more years of winning before that damn thing goes up

Re: 2088 Season Thread - Once upon a time in Hollywood
probably won't even go up then,GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 12:18 pmYou need 15 more years of winning before that damn thing goes up
I did get a fan loyalty increase from average to above average though, first NDL title ever, you'd think the fans would be a little more appreciative

Re: 2088 Season Thread - Once upon a time in Hollywood
There used to be parallel leagues that ran by the CPU as a part of our universe. There was like actual Japan leagues etc and we'd occasionally get our INT guys from them. There was the USBL that basically had rosters of college guys we didn't draft etc that also helped produce talent. When we added teams in expansion we had some of them come over from that league and also (possibly?) we brought some of them when Trendon contacted those leagues at the urging of the game devs I believe. I think there were maybe 2-4 of those USBL teams that became our computer run franchises in our league.
I'm sure I missed some of that up but I think that's the gist
