His ratings now and even not longer after he was traded are much higher than before he was traded.
He was actually 54 potential when I traded him looking now. And both contact and power went up by 15+ points. I'm certain his eye rating has as well.
Can confirm. I think he was a 58 POT when I traded for him and zero prospects of playing the field. Though if I had known about the RF errors thing I maybe would have played him there lol.
I hate hate hate letting him go but I told myself after signing Bob Hodges to a long term deal. Never ever payout for a DH. I'm sure he's gonna light it up wherever he goes (unless it's Sheltown).

Trade Tool
After a long beta period, the StatsPlus Trade Tool is now available for all leagues, and can be reached via the "Trade Tool" link on the League menu.
With the Trade Tool, GMs can propose and officially accept trades via StatsPlus, which will handle sending DMs with proposals (and rejections), and post to a league channel in a standard format when a trade is accepted.
The Trade Tool supports tracking traded draft picks outside OOTP, and there's even an option to apply the traded picks to an imported draft order before starting a draft.
Its a pretty awesome tool that has almost no application here since we still use forums and don't trade draft picks sadly.

Yea, your scout liked him more than mine, but I don't believe either of us ever had him winning multiple MVPs even in our best possible scenarios for him.

Then like most dudes I trade, he blows the F up shortly after. Same with SP Jose Rodriguez, he was a throw away in a trade as a sub 30 potential. 1 year later, blue potential.
might be an issue of your scout. J Rod wasn't a 30 potential according to my scout. More like probably 60
SP Clyde Sanchez should not be a free agent. I will be adding him back to San Antonio's minors. I have no idea what happened there...don't waste your money on him.

2 as per the schedule. All off season sims are 2 weeks except the first one to get us onto the Mondays. It's usually slightly shorter.
I understand trying to move offseason along faster, but I don't like the two week sims when you're trying to negotiate with free agents. Happened to me last season a couple times where I didn't even get a chance to improve my offer before the guy decides the sign during the second week. Probably will happen again this offseason as well.

Ya I understand but if we go any slower the offseason will get to be 1/2 as long as the season. This forces you to not fuck around put your best offer out there asap IMO. Can be frustrating for sure but we really can't be any slower in the offseason as there are a few guys on the fence already because of the slow offseason.

Two weeks really works perfect as it makes you make stronger offers and will typically get a chance to counter. One week is too slow and nobody signs until ST because nobody will sign until the 8th day of a sim and everyone waits and tries to wait for big price drops. Last year was an anomaly as far as our usual FA period.
Now if you were going for Ramos he probably signed because he got a monster offer and nothing else was remotely close and I'd say that is fairly realistic.
