LOL like I had a choice??? I like having good teams in my division. It was exciting every single sim last year with Hotlanta. Plus I have a theory that guys get better when they play against better teams.

In real life, yes, you are as good as your competition.
In OOTP, I don't buy it.

It really feels that way for the minors. Might not be for the majors though. Maybe it's just about quantity when you get the bigs. More abs/ip = more dev. I dunno but it's at least debatable.
