Closed door meeting with Cuevas. He understands if that ops doesn’t increase his tenure with Miami will be over.

The Joe Shirley era is up and running in Richmond. Slow first week for the top prospect but maybe this will spark this underachieving lineup.

RP John Dand major blow. Also sub at infield and outfield. Neat little player.

Moose Jaw 20 games in a row. That 116 call wins is looking good.

Waived RP Thomas Wallace Ouch talk about bad contacts.

Pretty cool to see. Impressive AF that SF was keeping up with me for so long.Graywolf357 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 6:12 am Moose Jaw 20 games in a row. That 116 call wins is looking good.
Pitching, defense, and dongs.
And a weak division.

Well at least Billy mixed it up and injured a reliever instead of a starter this sim.

OOTP going to OOTP. Died like 2 months after signing his extension with no signs of regression prior to it. Fun times. Love wasting $20M a year.

Same goes for Pepe Gonzalez for me. One of the reasons I hate signing pitchers

No one picks him up, he has no options, what's next?
Re: 2078 Season Thread... 2 Rings for the Wings
Really, with some of the contracts in this league you're "amazed"? lol, k.
He wanted much more, this is what I got him down to. He was 30 y/o at the time, extremely popular, and an iron man. I was going to put him into the rotation this year and figured at worst he's an expensive closer. Iron men typically don't decline at 30. Oh well, that is the risk you take in OOTP. Sometimes it works, sometimes its a $20M waste.
Re: 2078 Season Thread... 2 Rings for the Wings
I guess it's hard to think one can see "complete regression" over 3 IP after 600+ IP before that.
Some of that "solid reliever" time was spent feasting off of an unsustainable BABIP.
