Since Boogie was traded to the Pels as one of the best players in the NBA just 2 years ago, he has torn an achilles, a quad, and an ACL. And now on video threatening to kill his ex which could possibly be the end of his career at this point.

That Pels curse is nothing to scoff at.

KD is far from done. Hes going to put up silly numbers and barely make it into the playoffs every year. But to say hes done is ridiculous.

should probably research players with Achilles injuries and their careers after to see how incorrect you are.

Even though we lost I enjoyed watching these games that we actually were not locks to win. I hope they keep it like this, do something like 25-26 and under.

I assume they don't have much of a relationship, but saw this on the news the other day -- Kawhi's sister involved with murdering an 84 year old in a CA casino bathroom:

Because there is not an ounce of doubt who the best basketball country is. Sending a team like this was much more entertaining I thought.

This Rockets/Darryl Morey/Hong Kong thing is pretty fascinating. None of the reactions are surprising but still...

Morey tweeted out support for Hong Kong. The Rockets, from the Yao Ming days, are one of the most popular NBA teams in China. China is basically banning all things Rockets from their country as a result.

The NBA who pretended they're all about morals when they pulled the All Star game from Charlotte over a stupid bathroom bill goes on record in support of China and against Darryl Morey, or essentially the NBA insinuates they're against freedom just so it doesn't hurt their bottom line.

So far, the Rockets owner came out publicy critical of Morey but says he'll keep his job, but I don't see how that'll stick, I assume he'll get fired fairly soon as more and more goes down. Nike just pulled all of their Rockets gear in China, and I assume as more stuff like that happens, and the Rockets prioritizing money over morals, Morey won't be able to last.

China has now suspended the broadcast of all NBA preseason games.

This is wild, probably the most fascinating story since Sterling...NDL doesn't seem to agree though

One of the best NBA GMs is going to get fired and become unemployable due to a tweet in support of freedom. Welcome to 2019

Lebron/Kerr/Pop are champions and leaders who use their platform to speak up and have numerous quotes about how they NEED to use their platform to speak up.

Crickets when it comes to supporting freedom.

Kerr actually gave a quote, and he pulled the, "I don't know enough info to speak about it" line which is just BS. He seems like a pretty worldly dude, and he even said his brother in law is a Chinese history professor but yea, he has no clue what's going on here.

Here's a solid cliff notes version of what has happened so far:
1. Morey tweeted support of Hong Kong
2. China lost their minds
3. Tilman Fertitta said Morey does not speak for the Rockets organization
4. China demanded Morey be fired and the NBA apologize
5. Tilman said Morey will not be fired
6. China still pissed
7. Morey released a 2-tweet non-apology apology basically saying “sorry you guys got all offended”
8. China still pissed. Suspends ties to the Rockets and will not show Rockets games in China
9. The NBA releases a weak statement trying to please both China and the NBA community
10. China says that’s not good enough and pulls all Rockets merchandise from store shelves in China
11. Adam Silver releases the stronger statement in support of free speech
12. China bans all NBA preseason games from being shown in China

Does this honestly surprise you? This is why actors/athletes should stay out of politics and social movements. They are all hypocrites and will say whatever to get that new commercial, shoe deal, acting role....etc
