So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out. Must act quickly!

PS5 first news announced for possibly a 2020 release.
Too bad my video game playing days is 99% Switch related and pretty much done with all this fun stuff.

Will be crazy if they can pull these specs off though 8k TVs will be a while to catch up.

We’ve known for a while that Sony is working on its next-generation PlayStation console — call it the PlayStation 5 for lack of a better name — but today, we got the first real details on what to expect from the new hardware, thanks to an interview at Wired. Specifically, Sony is promising that the PS5 will support 8K graphics, 3D audio, super fast SSDs, and backwards compatibility with existing PlayStation 4 games.

Probably Day 1 purchase for me. Be able to have a PS4 and PS5 in the house in different rooms. The PSVR set-up only works in my office but my normal gaming is on the living room TV. PS4 can move into the office and PS5 in the front room - perfect for options.

If they do a trade in program, like they eventually do, I will take the plunge and offload my PSPro but no rush. My son is all about the Switch right now and my XB1X and Pro gather dust.

switch is going with a hands held only version soon. might buy it then. hour long commutes are so boring after a while

We play it in that version almost exclusively and its built like a tank for his age.
