The Orlando AAF team will still play home games in Orlando but have to now move their base to Jacksonville so the team can travel 30 minutes across state lines to hold practices in George.shel311 wrote:Don't get too attached to your hometown AAF football team.
The reason - Because I guess no one bothered to get the team any insurance to cover for injuries because Florida doesn't allow sports teams to be covered under worker's comp, and I assume they just can't afford the insurance premiums.
This is going south a lot quicker than I thought it would.

The lack of due diligence is mind boggling

I feel like there is another level to this. They have to establish a base of operations in Georgia to be covered under their laws. Simply traveling into, without operating, won't cut it. So did they buy some run down property there and establish this?

Funny, we just had a talk with the boys today and showed them the pic, telling them to let us know immediately if they ever see it on YouTube or Fortnite. Not sure how but I read fortnite is being hacked with it as well.

Effers ruining everything!
As only do iPads on the weekends for a small window so I didn’t want to freak them out before bed tonight

What the fuck is this?!?
I saw something with this photo mentioning people are being convinced to kill themselves in a truth or dare game. I figured it was another scare you shitless hoax and passed right over it.
C'mon Shel/Corey, give us some kind of details here

Re: Random Discussions
This video is popping up on youtube kids and other apps and this person wears that mask and tries to convince little kids to go get a knife out of the kitchen and push it into their neck.
Just had a talk with our son last night so he knows to tell us immediately and if he sees it on his sisters tablet when she is watching something.
The fucker behind this needs a dirt nap!

Re: Random Discussions
Not necessarily.
No one is wearing a mask and doing this. It’s an Asian sculpture that has become the visual scare piece of the whole thing. Then someone voices a dare game of steps to kill yourself and if you don’t they will kill you at night.
Imagine a toddler seeing that damn thing followed by the cryptic details. YouTube kids only gets watched when we are around due to r/elsagate anyways. Check that one out too.

We have kids.
Kind of have to be on alert. Regardless, I think it’s a bit overblown and unless you are an oblivious parent that gives an iPad to a kid for multiple hours with no structure you kind of handle these things anyways.

Exactly. My kids and most middle school kids have favorite Youtubers who they watch like ninja or TFUE or whoever. These vids aren’t being hit. I’m sure if you go to official Peppa pig channel you ain’t being subjected to Peppa Pig vids telling you to slit your wrists.

My son watches whatever on youtube kids, so it can pop up, luckily it has never....yet.
Andy my daughter has an ipad and also watches peppa on youtube kids besides on the official channel.
They are 5 1/2 and 2 1/2.
So no matter what, we took it as an opportunity to talk to our son about what this video is doing and trying to get kids to harm themselves or others and if he ever sees it to go immediately to whoever is watching him. (Us, grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, etc. ) And if he ever sees it on his sisters tablet that it is the only time he is allowed to take something out of her hands.

Re: Random Discussions
No offense, of course but if folks are letting kids type what ever in a computer and watching stuff not from reputable people or sites then sadly all is fair game. YouTube or not, still crazy shit on there. George told me he was looking for a recipe for a creampie one day and was shocked what he found.The_Niddler wrote:BFiVL wrote:Cnasty wrote:We have kids.
