That said, I already contacted George and Nick privately and they can't help but I would be very appreciative if any of you could help me on this. It would mean a whole helluva lot. I need to find someone who can help me with figuring out if someone who is now 50-55 years of age did *ANY* of the following ...

1) Went to the University of Iowa at IC
2a) Lettered in football at any point for UI
2b) Showed up in Iowa City at any point.
3. Was anywhere (IU, ISU, NIU, ETC)

when i was about 19 years old when playing college and madden online first came out we had the first 2 leagues on leaguedaddy. and we set up a conference call once with Tom and that other dude, Powers or whatever his name was, and they wanted me to join their league and take all my madden guys with me to the Power college league.

i can remember the negotiations in my UConn dorm room being more intense than the ones i'm in today with my business career. I remember distinctly us talking about how we could make this into E-leagues that they'd cover on ESPN just like they cover real sports.

the vision was there, just missed out on that execution part!
